All three gentlemen, though, were 23 years old. Amazing feat for such young whippersnappers.
Knowing Sigel's birthday would reveal WHO was actually the youngest!

Let's try to do the math.....
According to the Billiard Congress HoF info Mike was
1. inducted at age 35
2. won the US Open in 1975
3. 1989 - 1975 = 14 years
Therefore, Mikes induction age (35) minus 14 years of playing = 21 years old
They also say he turned Pro at age 20 & he says he won his first pro tournament - the US Open - So I would say he was more like 21 or 22 years old.
We might have to call him! lol

As CSSuits states, if you go to the BCA website and click on the Hall of Fame link, it gives a brief bio for Mike Sigel, to include that he was born in 1953.
So 1953 to 1976 is 23 years. However, without knowing Sigel's birthday, it is difficult to discern how old he was when he competed and won the U.S. Open in 1976. He may have been 22 years old, depending on the exact date of the Open and what day his birthday falls on.

The only pool player I ever new with "handsome" used with his name was "Handsome Danny Jones" from Kennesaw ,Ga.
But; I don't know that he ever won the "OPEN".

Mike Sigel's B-day is listed as 7-11-53. Source was www.playgreatpool.com, I can't vouch for its accuracy.

There were 3 or 4 tournaments that Barry Berhman ran prior to the US Open titled event in 1976. Mike Sigel won 2 of them. So that give Mike 5 wins (same as Earl) for the Barry Berhman major events.
Mike was either 20 or 21 when he won Barry's events before they were called the US Open.
The convention center where the US Open is held, was built in part, because of the US Open history of great attendance figures. Prior to the convention center being built, the Holiday Inn Greenbriar held the event. Prior to the HI involvement, QMasters was the venue.
You'll have to ask Barry for the dates of these changes to the venue.
