Ultimate Pool USA - Arizona

I watched some of that. Well played Easy.
Have you heard if they plan to keep the pockets that size?
Some of the shots that fell in a couple of the matches were ridiculous.

Did anyone notice some of the facings on the corner pockets appeared to be cupped inwards? Not something I would expect from a newish table.

Are there still people claiming 8 ball on a 7ft is harder than a 9ft after watching 10 min of this? Jeeze....

Its ba

It is bartable pool with a shot clock. The pockets are just fine.

the first tour stops with diamond tables were better, these are too soft. but they have a partnership with brunswick it seems.

it's a fun, carneval-esque event that gives some shine to non-pros and up and coming youngsters. good production, too. i've watched at least one match from every event and i'm a 9ft orthodox, so they're doing something right.

Diamonds would be better. Most players do not need buckets in order to play with a 30 sec shot clock. It may add a bit of drama when the clock starts at 15 seconds. The pockets at this event looked to be 5"+. It was fun to watch in any case.

Except for the horrible camara work, great event. Very little down time, no problems with equipment, interesting mix of players. Some great play coming from players of different levels. Easy took down Styer and Bergman, that's awesome! I'll let somebody who was there say what the pockets actually are, but no way they are 5", probably 4.5".

They were 4.5". That being said, there was almost no shelf depth and the cloth was letting lots of balls slide right in. The table was very fast and slippery and the shot clock catches up to you real fast. Fun tournament though!
