Ultimate Pool USA - Arizona

Interesting side note, Drew Tkacik has a YouTube channel. I think it’s DVP billiards. It’s primarily about his APA team, and ways for mid-level players to get better. His name was drawn from the open bracket, for a spot in 16 player Shootout! Can you imagine the twisting in your gut? He held up okay, but of course got smoked. Managed to get a rack off Matlock, and didn’t embarrass himself too much! We have all seen similar situations where the guy just woofs his cookies all over the table. In the group play he got two racks off Eric and three from Tina Larsen, tough action!

My man Matlock and his young partner snapped off the mixed.
That young lady, Jordan Helfery, was incredibly impressive to me. She’s got a ton of game, but her nerve and composure given her age/experience level were pretty special…it’s not an exaggeration to say she carried Dave in that championship match.

She should be a great player. After all she is 13:oops:
Looking forward to watching Jordan's career!

Really wish someone could do a national big table 9b tour that was half as well organized as these cats. I've talked to few that have played and all said its the best organized/run events they've played in a long time, maybe ever. The time-limit matches are the NUTS, no need for a shot clock.

They only used match clocks and shot clocks on the YouTube table. All other tables weren't timed unless someone was continuously slow playing.

i thought they had an app or something for that. what's the allure of their league thing if not the time constraints?
