Ultra Skin tips

Just to let everyone know.....

I have been using Ultra Skin tips for as long as they have been available. I have switched most of my customers to these great tips.

I had a player that insisted on a Kamui Med. He told me it would be a lot better than an Ultra Skin. A week later he said "the Kamui wasn't what I thought it would be."
Not that Kamui tips are bad in any way but, you can get the same play with an Ultra Skin for a lot less money.

I emailed Tom to tell him that I had 2 Ultra Skin Med that mushroomed a little. Out of the 50 I have put on... just these 2. Maybe it was the player maybe it was a little inconsistancy in the tips..maybe it was how I installed them. I am not sure. After re dressing them they played just fine.

Because of this Tom sent me 10 extra tips with my last order. I didn't ask for them or expect them...........

Great tips from a great business man..................

I will continue to use these tips............ I think they are great..........

I agree, they are great tips.

From my perspective Tom has changed the way I look at the whole tip market.

I use to get Le Pros, Triangles, and Elk Masters for casual players that said "Put on whatever you think is good and cheap." Then I had and still have a selection of layered tips to meet the demand from more discerning players. UltraSkins are cheap enough that they are 90% of what I install. From Players to Tascarella, they get Ultra Skins. They trim and shape beautifully. Very little if any mushrooming. No come backs. No reason to stock any thing else.

Paying big money for a tip has always been suspect. Now its clearly a fools gambit.

Awesome choice, easy install, now let see how they hold up in tonights tournament!!!
 
I've installed about 40 Ultras since I started stocking them,and NO ONE has complained yet. I'm even playing with an HH at the moment on my fave shaft.

I've also installed 6 Oinkers,also with no complaints.

Now he is coming out with a B/J tip and the new VS,so I'll get some of those too when it's time to restock.

Unless a customer brings me a tip they want installed,or pays me up front to order something else,I'm sticking with these until the end of time.

The man is as good as they come,as is the product and price point. Tommy D.

Cut them down for a nice hit and good control. I cut all I install down to 4 layers and a dome.... I only get good feedback..

This past week I switched to ultraskin medium from Kamui black Ss

I left them high cause I want them to play a bit softer for now. They will harden up a bit as they wear down, or when I get them cut down.

So far I love them.
