I guess we can now post anything on the Main Forum so long as we include "and Cues" in the title (thanks, mods!) - so here's my contribution.

I like the DaveK Elite pictured here - old style classy in black. How about you?

This one won't take. Cars may have rivaled Guns at 44,000 views and growing.

I wish I could post my umbrealla picture but the maker I selected works in London and has a 6 yr waiting list.

He might make you wait even longer...'cause you didn't call it by its right name...

That's the English spelling, like colour. It rains so much there they have 45 different words for umbrella.

The one I picked is "item used to keep rain off you on mostly weekends in rain that has 5% side incline with a 12-15 mph winds that can also be used to whack people soundly in the head that correct spelling".

Interesting

I think my grandmother had that same wallpaper in her bathroom.

If you pulled the wall paper down, you may have found this!!

Pic removed per request, I will find another one later more appropriate. The prior pic was not meant to offend anyone.

I got my brother the Katana.

I'm pretty sure that I saw one of these just the other day sticking out of a shopping bag of a guy standing next to me in line. I thought it was an actual sword, the handle looked real authentic and was a bit different to the picture, but still the same basic idea. It had a thin wrapping all the way up to the guard, covering up the umbrella part, so at first there was nothing showing you that it was just an umbrella. I was keeping an watchful eye on the guy to see what he was doing. You never know when some lunatic is going to go berserk in a public place, even if a katana is somewhat less practical than other weapons in this regard, such a sword in the hands of an uncoordinated lunatic is still a long, heavy razorblade attached to a handle.

I'd be too nervous to use one of these umbrellas myself. Being tackled by a cop is not my idea of a good time. Of course in the US they'd just shoot you, and I expect I'd enjoy that even less.

If you live in Hawaii...

I take offence to this post. I live in Hawaii and do not own nor do I think I have any need for an umbrella.

Doesn't it rain there like 350 days out of the year for 20 seconds at a time??

This thread is proof positive that with the correct amount of sunlight and watering any thread can flourish in the Main Forum. :yeah:

Windward sides of all island get a good amount of rain leeward sides can be very dry. You are correct Jaden the rain is usually very brief and since it is always 70-85 degrees windy and strong sun shine you never stay wet for very long.
