Why was he hesitant about sending the cue to the us? do they check less for ivory going to ireland?

No. Just the opposite. He's afraid that customs would be on the ball and confiscate said cue and put his name on a list of people to be sure to check when sending items through customs.

Damn. I wish I'd been keeping current in AZ forums. A buddy of mine just returned from Manila 2 weeks ago. I'm sure he'd have brought the cue to me where I could have shipped it on to Shane. I owe Edwin a few favors anyway.

The cue arrived in Ireland (which is where I had him send it as Edwin was hesitant about sending it to the USA) and my business partner then sent it to me with no problems and I am very happy with it so all is well that ends well.

Thank you Edwin for finally getting the cue sent out and to all those on AZ that participated in the thread.
