Any case experts out there that might recognize this case?

It looks to be vinyl, is very heavy (weighs about 5 pounds). The locks and hinge are very sturdy.

It could be a cheapo from overseas but it seems a little too heavy duty for that.

Thanks

Consider it done. That Swift cost $220 new and hasn't been out of the house. Whats fair ?

I'll even autograph it , right above " Keith " ;)

The guy I got the old case from said it was a Balabushka case. I received it, didn't see any markings on it, and asked him what made him think it was a Balabushka case. He said it came from an estate sale and was told it was a Balabushka. Its definitely old and even has a musty smell to it.

With with the weight of the case, a couple of cues, a chicken sandwich and bottle of merlot, I'd have to start lifting weights to carry it around!!

Bruce is banned!!! :D

It looks very sturdy and made well enough. I think there used to be an outfit called the NYC case company....could be one of those. Maybe try an email to that billiardcue.com Abbott bloke. Perhaps he could recognize it.

Log off and get to leathering. Someone is anxiously waiting (if you get my drift :D :D ) !

Loved the case, sir!

It look well built, I would send a picture to Ron Thomas, as he did some production vinyl case for a while, and I see Thomas elements.

Also point TATE toward this as he is a Expert of sorts on Cases.

I called Ron Thomas this afternoon, his vinyl case had tubes. So this is not one of the thomas production cases from years ago.

Where is Tate the Case Expert?

As I said in the initial post, it came out of New York and the seller said he was told it was a Balabushka case.

I'm no authority on anything (other than Sandra Bullock:D :o :D ) but this does not seem to just an ordinary case. Its heavy, its well made and just doesn't seem like a cheapo.

CocoCowboy - Thanks for the help!

Keith

*** Sandra, why aren't your returning my calls? I'll be on cell this evening.
