I don't gamble but.... pool and gambling just go hand in hand. Nothing bad or wrong about it.. they are brothers.. closely fitted parts of the puzzle.. yin and yin.. casinos and pool fit hand in glove.

Yeah, but what about the "Absolutely no foul language and/or gambling" sign I see all over the walls everywhere? Are they in a casino, too? You know, every poolroom I go into I see that sign. SSSHH, between you and me, I just tear down the sign, burn it in the bathroom, and continue to woof.
True Rumor About The Dcc
I am a bit involved with "gaming" so I know a little bit about what is permitted and what is not at least with some states. First off, as many of you already know, gambling at pool will be allowed at the DCC.
HOWEVER, and this is a big however, DISCRETION is the word of the day.
While we may be allowed to gamble at pool at the DCC, it is in your best interest in more ways than one to use discretion when it comes to making a bet.
1. You should NOT have your bet money posted on a light above the table.
2. You should NOT have your bet money sitting in a cigar box below the table.
(In fact, it is a VERY GOOD IDEA to make sure that your bet money is not on public display as this is asking for potential trouble).
3. Taking bets like you are at a cock-fighting contest is NOT a good idea.
In summary, gamble at pool all that you like but use some discretion when flashing your money around. You don't want a gaming official (from the state) to get a wild hair up his butt and decides to make a name for themselves by confiscating your bet money whether it be temporary or not so temporary.
We can and will have a GREAT TIME at the DCC gambling at pool but you just have to use some common sense. The casino may not mind us gambling at pool amongst ourselves but we need to realize that there are other entities in our environment and we need to use DISCRETION.
In addition, the banditos are always out and about at events like this, looking to make a quick score. Luckily, at the casinos, you have plenty of security and CAMERAS. I love the cameras. The banditos hate the cameras.
Go, have a great time at the DCC, gambling at pool but don't let your emotions cloud your sound judgment.
