I thought I was losing my mind reading this post and everyone who took this bet.

Darren won the hotseat last night, so basically that "field" that Roy gave up is only one player. You are really giving up 2:1 on the money. Darren has to be beat twice in the finals.
 
Our bet is off. I thought it was 4 on the winners, 4 on the losers. No way in the world would I take that bet knowing Daz had already won the winners side.

If you have 2 equal players, what is a fair money line that one player will win 2 straight sets? 4:1 right?

I thought the same thing. How can they have a traditional bracket and have 7 in the loser bracket nd a hotseat winner already?

To almost get you was probably just as fun as winning that bet. (If Darren manage to do that, though)

I still have a bet with cbaumann, and if he doesn't cancel the bet before the match starts, I will consider it as a go.

After all, the brackets are available for anyone, the tournament are being broadcasted live in prime-time for you in America, so there is really NO excuse for not having the information you need before agreeing on a bet.

JMHO.

I just talked to Darren on the cellie. We, uhh-ummm, I would like to bet two hundred thousand that Darren doesn't four in the finals and another two hundred thousand that he passes out in game one and hits his head on the table and still continues the match. Oh yeah, he's wearing black shoes for fifty thousand. Please confirm.
