Update on my wife. & i will make it pool related

I would like to say thanks for all the calls, text messages on my cell and a few Pm's here inquiring about my wife's status. At present she is barely hanging on. Sleeping maybe 21 hours a day. I have to wake her to feed her and give her her medications everyday. She is on many meds including morphine and lortab plus a steady flow of oxygen. it is only a matter of time before the good lord takes her to be with him. She has lost interest in everything and i believe she wants it to be finally over.

I am doing ok. Just tears my heart out to sit/lie there watching the love of my life waste away more every day. But like everything else in my life i will get through this as well. I have already made all arrangements that need to be made and have all the facts and figures. She in going to be cremated and her ashes buried with my parents as will mine.

now to make it pool related. I will be putting up a couple of cues in the wanted/for sale section in the near future. I have a brand new espiritu that has never been played that i bought from Chris on line plus i also have an autographed muecci signed by Jim Rempe also bought from Chris. So please look for them in the future. And again, thanks to everybody for their kind words and prayers.....................mike....:crying:
 
I watched both my parents die from cancer. They were both at home, surrounded by all us kids. It was a very hard thing to do, sitting back watching them go. I feel for you. They know how much you love them, and no matter what anyone says, they can feel your presence, even when they can no longer communicate with you.
God be with you and your family during these trying times.
 
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am back in Topeka trying to take care of my moms affairs. She passed away last Saturday and it has been very hard. Spend as much time as you can with her. I did not get to spent any time at the end with my mom, I was in California and did not get back here in time.

Hang in there, bro. Say everything you want to say to her while she still has periods of consciousness, before the drugs keep her under. The next chapter of your life will come soon enough. Keep a clear head, and wind down this chapter as best you can. Prayers coming her way, and yours too.
 
May God embrace your loved one in his hands. One can never know how you feel, but I watched my father take his last breath holding my hand...it was very painful. My prayers are with you both in this hard time of your lives.

How sad .... :sorry: ....I said a prayer for your wife ... And then I said a prayer for you ... try not to feel sad for the loss you are expecting but remember all the good times you two had together and cheerish them .... I know it is easier said then done but it is the best I can think of ...

Mike...You absolutely must know that she loves you the same way you love her. That is something that nobody can ever take away from either of you. I understand how hard it is to see her suffer. All of us here feel some of your pain, and hopefully we can help ease the burden on you, knowing that you are loved and befriended here by many of us. Life will go on, difficult as that may seem now...and in the end, your love of pool, and your friends here and everywhere, will allow you to keep a smile on your face, and love in your heart, for a wonderful life you had with her! God bless you my friend!

I don't know you except from what you write on the forum but I get the strong impression that you made a fine husband and that your wife knows and appreciates that about you.

I went through this same ordeal with my mother and this may not be the comfort that I intend at this time.
But,when she is gone, she will come back to visit you. She will be strong and vibrant and as you remember her from happier times. You will happily look forward to these visits to stroll down the lanes you once knew.
