FWIW I got hammered on Saturday out here and was there for that controversial match where the girls took their shirts off and played in their bras. So plus 1 to the hangover list.

Your such an instigator Mikey. How would I have guessed you would be right in the middle of the ruckus with your ringleader hat on??

Blaime the goose if you must, but you sir are a ... facilitator of good times.

I'm gonna miss your ruckus raising.

Will it be good news or bad news?

That depends which of the two possibilities I am getting clarified, as well as the individual. I know...doesn't really tell you anything. I will say that my source is very good though :).

Lol now I don't feel so bad. I should be able to find out about the air conditioning of the building since I have connections there with a certain someone :).

Hopefully it's an upgrade not a down sizing type of deal. The last thing des moines needs is a smaller pool hall, I think they need to expand and get a kitchen that at least can do hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and cheese steaks so the fat drunk people can at least get a DUI on a full tummy

From what I heard they bought the building instead of leasing it and there is going to be a kitchen. It needs a lot of work. But it's nice to know they are commited to keeping a pool hall in Des Moines. People seem to forget what it was like for all us players before Big Dogs opened. I for one would like to thank Randy, Mark and their partners for keeping Big Dogs in Des Moines I hope the players in town realize what we could have lost and support the new place.

So is this good news or bad news?

Well, it was either a renovation of the current building or a new building. It sounds like (according to JR) that they are going to a new building. Randy has signed something to move forward on this as my gf works for the engineers firm that is handling that aspect of it. No news on what all is entailed yet though which is why I said stay tuned. A lot depends on how long the architects take as I believe it is now in that step.

BUMP!

I don't know why, but it seems the league players don't like BD's. I've heard more than one comment about not wanting to play or practice there. I've tried to encourage going there, but it's a hard sell for some reason.

I don't know if it's the persons there or the place that is not satisfying to these guys And now without the famous Frosty man there anymore, golly, what's a Des Moines pool player to do?
