Joey Gray, and maybe Chip Compton, from OKC. I don't know much about the scene in Tulsa anymore, but I've heard Shane McMinn is a monster.

Congrats to Jody for finishing well in Olathe this past weekend! Beating anyone in that tourney is tough, but beating John Hennessy is extremely hard to do. I heard Jody finished the best out of anyone from Des Moines? That is easy to believe, because I think Jody has more heart than most. I heard Frost did good too, which is cool! Mike A., not so good though. He needs to play more than once a week.
I put my Vcash on Shane. But haven't decided who to root for yet. Leaning towards Scott. Either way, it should be a great match.

Geoff Rice is working on a combined league night for VNEA/BCA so you can play one night, pay like time and a half dues and get qualified for everything. Just a heads up for everyone from DSM who plays or is looking to play.
No he does not have a specific night yet.
Should be interesting. Any word yet on how the format will work out? I was suggesting playing a bigger version, to keep the 5 player teams for BCA. Isn't VNEA a 4 person team?
Wonder if they will let you pick your format -- I've played 3 man BCA teams that you play each person 2x. So I would guess that we could pick whatever format we wanted?

Ummm the pool room is hosting but let's be realistic on whether they will actually be the big winner. First of all no one knows exactly it is going to cost them to get the table up to snuff, set up equipment, bring rafters and seating in, bring on some extra staffing and other expenses they may incur. Also it's a known fact...pool players don't drink and eat all that much. They will do less of each when they think they may have some potential action lined up. I am yet to see anything more than internet ads on the event. We have no fliers going around or anything like that, home town people don't even know it's going on. more people here know Jeanette Lee is going to Stix and not Big Dogs for an exhibition type of deal. I hope people come out but I could see where this event could fall flat on its face from lack of promotion. The internet does not reach everyone!

She's doing a whole great big exhibition/APA representative type of deal at Stix. She'll be coming like 1st week of August or so. I saw it in an APA packet or whatever and shook my head. Apparently Stix only affiliates with APA and Big Dogs has other leagues so Stix gets Jeanette Lee. That's gay!
