Garth Brooks is a smooth cat.

I want to be clear. Whatever I say is exactly what I mean. If that turns you off that's cool. If you lost respect for me just ask yourself who the **** is asking you to find it? Before I type whatever I type I always ask myself is the risk worth the reward, and in all cases it has been.
I've staked people, loaned them money, let people play on credit, wait forever to get paid, never get paid back large sums of money, had tournaments with money in them, gamble regularly, and after all the shit I've done and times I have been shitted on I'm still right here.
So Ray if you don't want to play with me or anyone from AZ anymore, good luck to ya. Athens if you can't take an opinion that's different than yours or in opposition of you, good luck to ya. Anyone else who is bothered or offended that wasn't my intention so if any of it did impact you...I'M GLAD and good luck to ya.

What time is your game? I need to go to Big Dogs and spread the word for tomorrow a little bit more. When are you guys starting?
Oh and yes I do need a hug, you know that man!
I can't believe you quoted a country songGarth Brooks - Against the Grain.
-------------------------------------
Folks call me a maverick
Guess I ain't too diplomatic
I just never been the kind to go along
Just avoidin' confrontation
For the sake of conformation
And I'll admit I tend to sing a different song
But sometimes you just can't be afraid
To wear a different hat
If Columbus had complied
This old world might still be flat
Nothin' ventured, nothin' gained
Sometimes you've got to go against the grain
Well, I have been accused
Of makin' my own rules
There must be rebel blood
Just a-runnin' through my veins
But I ain't no hypocrite
What you see is what you get
And that's the only way I know
To play the game
Old Noah took much ridicule
For building his great ark
But after forty days and forty nights
He was lookin' pretty smart
Sometimes it's best to brave the wind and rain
By havin' strength to go against the grain
Well, there's more folks than a few
Who share my point of view
But they're worried
If they're gonna sink or swim
They'd like to buck the system
But the deck is stacked against 'em
And they're a little scared
To go out on a limb
But if you're gonna make a difference,
if you're gonna leave your mark.
You can't follow like a bunch of sheep
You got to listen to your heart
Go bustin' in like old John Wayne
Sometimes you got to go against the grain
Nothin' ventured, nothin' gained
Sometimes you've got to go against the grain
LOL. i love it. Jamie Baracks is awesome.
I would hope No One would quit over peoples opinions![]()

Sooo thanks to everyone who came out and supported the one pocket tournament today. I think it was another huge success. We had 18 players come had a prize pool of $470 and we finished the tournament in 9 hours. I think that's pretty damn sporty.
Thanks to big dogs for the tables, the 2 for 1 drink special, adding $50 to the tournament and letting everyone play on the bar tables during the tournament.
I think people found my break contest to be a highlight of the day. I don't think people realized how high the pot gets in a short period of time. Congrats to Ronnie for snapping it off and taking home $165 just for making a ball on break more than everyone else, not bad for 40 mins of work.
Personal shoutouts to Jason R., Justin, Phil, Mike Henderson, Kirk Glass, Drunk Derek, Jesse Bowman, Troy H., Jon Brown, Rick G., Jimmy, Theo, Jon V., Dean, Flip, Shannon, Ronnie, and even me for playing in the tournament and being good sports. I think everyone who played enjoyed the format. For the most part the tables were being played on constantly.
Tournament Results - 1st: Jesse Bowman $200, 2nd: Mike Henderson $130, 3rd: Justin Richardson $90, and 4th: Troy Honeycutt $50
Winner Take All Break Contest: Ronnie $165
Big table 10 ball tournament in a couple weeks probably on March 13th. One again thanks to all who played and enjoyed the tough competition. I hope to see most people back and to the guys who couldn't make it due to refereeing or being stuck at work it's all good come on out next time. I appreciate the continued support of the tourneys on the large tables. Everyone is certainly welcome to play the 10-Ball.

Thanks for putting on a good tournament Mikey. It was a bit of a grind for me to cash, but I enjoyed the format. Maybe next time I will draw a bye sometime to get a little rest.
It would be nice if Big Dogs opened at noon on one pocket day. That way we could get started by 1 or 2 instead of 4 and it could be over before midnight. (we could easily get 24 people next time instead of 18)
For a first time event, this tournament gets a:
