Upraise this table please

Is it too low to the ground??? why do you need it upraised???? ...
Jaden
To answer your question, yes, the table does need to be raised up. Pool tables are too low for those with back issues and such. A couple of inches ought to do it.;)

hi sneaky
if your interested i've got a diamond professionel all oak with matching diaomond light also oak full size brand new simonis cloth 2500
table is about 6hrs from you

Think I would check on this!!!!

Has anyone ever bough a table from the US and brought it to Canada? What are the customs fees like?

No custom fees, but you will have to pay HST.
Not sure what sort of a hassle this is at the border or if it could be avoided.
Diamond uses a customs broker to handle the tax for tables it delivers to Canada.
The HST and broker's fee are charges in addition to their quote, and they may not mention them - customer pays the tax and broker's fee to the broker, not to Diamond.

2 years ago I bought a privately owned GCII for $300.00, it was in perfect condition, that came with a Brunswick floor standing 2 sided cue rack. I know this was kind of a fluke, but deals like this do show up. On the bottom end I would expect to get into a GC for about $1k.

well he dropped down to 2K now
that includes 6 cues and a rack (2 of which are probably over 100$), new cloth (simonis),brunswick light
2 sets or balls
i want to try to go for 1600-1700
also it will cost me 700$ to get it moved and set up

any thoughts?

Offer the 1700-tell him the set up costs are more than you expected. If he says no-tell him you have my number if you change your mind call me but meanwhile you'll be looking.. He probably doesnt have anyone else looking at it and he;ll call you in a couple of days. If not and you are jonesing for that table, call him and tell him you sold some crap and can go the other 300. Im assuming this table is in real good shape. If you wanna keep waiting him out that may pay off but for a couple of hundred and you love it, I'd probably lock it up and take it home.

do you think its a fair price for the stuff?

Had a conversation with the pro for a private club in Toronto who lives in Mississauga.

When he sold his house in Mississauga years ago, he sold his Gold Crown III, with a brass light (retail $1500), cues, balls .... for $2,000.

Except for the light, it would seem to fit the story behind the table you asked about.

Do you know the address of the seller?

His opinion was that the installed cost of such a table should be no more than $2500.

Table looks in good shape in pictures.

Is this the GCIII in the Piano Gloss Black finish? Drop pockets?

A Brunswick gold crown light included?...what's that 350-500?

Couple sets of balls..200?

A cover...if fleece lined..75?

New cloth...simonis? 275-300?

House Sticks and wall racks.....150-200?

You are probably not stealing...but sounds fair at 2000 if slate not cracked or sagging at end rails (GCIII issue?)

Any way to get your setup guy/mechanic to check it out before paying for it? New rubber adds 300?

Good luck...
