Upstate Al - Did You Catch What He Said?

Brian, Al did fine with my name..."Kerry". I enjoyed the opportunity to sit in the booth with Al for that exciting final! I love watching and discussing pool. Hope I did ok on the mic.

Great Stream

Kick'n I couldnt agree more. I watched the matches all weekend and didnt hear an accent at all? Sounded just like my neighbors here in Austin, TX. ;) Kevin Guimond used to live down here and we played a couple of times so it was fun to see him compete. Of course Al pronounced about 3 different ways but it was funny. Kevin Gooomond, Kevin Geemond.....is it Goomund? Anyway, thanks Al. You have a fan in Texas. :thumbup: Keep the Joss tour live streaming. So many good players.
 
I agree with all of you about al's commitment to the sport...hurrah.....however, after a few failed attempts, I can't convince al that there is NOT a "r" in the word "saw". :grin-square:
 
I really like and appreciate Al's zest and enthusiasm for the work he does for pool streaming.

That said...I just shake my head when I hear him call Jayson Shaw "Jayson Shar"....or call the word data "datter". Then...he'll call Johnny Archer "Johnny Aw-cher". WTH??? How do these New Yorkers always seem to put R's in words that don't have them and leave out the R's in words that DO have them???

You know I love ya Al - just giving you a hard time. Stream was GREAT and seeing Mike get doubled dipped added to the excitement - really looking forward to your next stream!
 
UpState Al is the true measure of a gentleman. It is always a pleasure to see him and have a good conversation. He's Always in good spirits and brings a vibe to the game like no other . If pool ever returns to ESPN ........I VOTE UPSTATE AL
