Mix has always been like that for past 5 years or so since majors really went global with influx and bigger participation of international players. Difference this year is there are string of surprise winners in international events not top cream of the cream. Winners in past usually from winners side.Similar to the last two Vegas events sort of. A mix of Europeans and Asians, and Shane if he makes it.
It's sort of what the top 20 or 30 of Fargo looks like
Ruiz just played incredibly well and aggressively. He didn't give Shane much of a chance to get back into rhythm. Not sure what happened against Ruiz. But this level of play by Shane will be hard to beat.
My underdog prediction is Mario He. His mental game is ice.
I've followed him since he was a teen when he finished 3rd at the Expo and won a couple big sets down stairs , I'll never forget him and his dad walking to the bathroom he looked at him gave a little smile and popped his gum like no big deal , Mr Smooth is a perfect name for himYeah he mentioned the hand switch in the interview - happened a few years ago? That's nuts.
You, me and everybody knows that ain't ever gonna happen.Hey Glen , stop freaking arguing like a woman with PMS.
This is US OPEN UPDATE thread .
Let the people come here and check the updates and not read your stupid incessant arguments about piddly stuff .
For God's sake , GROW UP .
So you’re saying He’s the man?My underdog prediction is Mario He. His mental game is ice.
That last rack had it all. The bad roll Albin got notwithstanding, a 2-10 deficit against Shane was likely too much anyway.Shane defeats 2-time World 9-Ball champion Albin Ouschan 11-2.
I don't think he missed one ball in that match, and he is making balls on every break! Filler barely got to the table.Fortunski has an interesting style. He shoots most his shots the same speed. Does not try to get perfect shape, if he can see it then he can make it. Fortunskihe has no problem leaving himself long.
He played so solid. I’m impressed!Fortunski ousts Filler 11-3.
You notice his head, it never moves when he shoots the 9. He’s rock solid. He showed zero nerves, I’m impressed.I don't think he missed one ball in that match, and he is making balls on every break! Filler barely got to the table.
