Interesting match between Tkach and Larsson. Larsson is a wheelchair champion and has an interesting stroke out of necessity.

Shaw’s opponent shows up twice in Fargo’s database:

Vincent Beauivage - 641 rating, 756 games
Vincent Beaurivage - 668 rating, 2309 games

Same guy, 47 point gap in performance with hundreds of games behind each rating. Just goes to show the variance hidden underneath the single point estimate we see.

Man, it's gotta be tough having to be relocated just to be able to play in the U.S. Open.

Check your math, I got 27.

Point taken just the same.

sjm is in the house, Talking yo Karl B in the background of the Melling/Thorp match.
Melling is a beast, not enough o's in smooth. I would love to see Chris go all the way to the finals.
He definitely caught a gear at the end there. Was some great pool played.

If your not on the FB live stream what social media are you using?

They are using 26 tables. Seems to be moving right along. The last scheduled match time for today is at 6:30 PM (Eastern), but I think that's a "no earlier than" time.
