US Open events at Griff's

That is incorrect. Not viewing it that way at all. Nor would I say the Matchroom commentary is any better than most.

his approach to streaming is to BS as much as possible and toss as much crap as possible on the stream. Collin acts like a complete arrogant a-hat the entire time. If you even listen to it, a perfect example is his interactions with his supposed bud Mike. That guy acts uncomfortable and awkward with most of the crap that comes out of Collin's mouth. Thankfully he doesn't show the non stop picture-in-picture close up of his mug from the booth during play. There is only so much crap you can fit on the screen.
You're being too critical. I enjoy it and always have.

Collins does a lot of work to set up and stream. I can see how his commentary might not be everyone's cup of tea, but the negative comments seem personal and a little unnecessary.

I tend to ignore a lot of the commentary and almost all of the chat but love the fact that I get to watch great matches for free.

I remember when the only way I could watch matches like he streams were to send Accu-Stats a bunch of money and wait for tapes or DVD's to arrive in the mail. Now we get free streams and the guys who drove hundreds of miles to put together a whole streaming set-up get dumped on by people who don't have to pay a dime.

Put it on mute, ignore the chat, and just enjoy watching Shane give another masterclass in eight ball and ten ball.
Pool without sound is a colossal waste of time. Its key to enjoying the game. These numbnut's constant jabbering is brutal.

LMFAO, except you can't ignore the stupid chat as the guy put the overlay combined Facebook & Youtube chats right next to the table.

Of course it is on mute.

If you can fade the stream, it’s some pretty good pool. They pay a lot of attention to the chat, because that’s how they get paid. So what, just watch the pool. SVB has been seriously rolling, it wouldn’t matter who is opponent is. Then, out of nowhere, he messes up some random shot. It’s weird. He has the firepower to overcome, but you can’t always recover from that kind of stuff. He is still on the winners side, obviously the favorite. Same as Filler, clubbing baby seals😆

a vietnamese fan said there was a viet mirror stream with viet commentary that had 100k viewers when shane was playing the other day. that's crazy for such a small event, shows how popular the game is over there

i watched the final and i haven't rooted that much for shane since 2022 WC. nothing against the oliver as a person i'm sure he's a nice guy, but playing that slow is just terrible for the game and for the fans

19,200 bucks and counting for Shane after winning the 8 and 10 ball events with almost perfect play.

Banks starts at noon today with Alex P and Evan Lunda I believe. One pocket starts after Banks is complete.

I wonder what odds someone would get for SVB to win both of those as well, I doubt he is the favorite in banks and his break is not an advantage in one pocket but he is playing almost perfect pool this week.

8 to 1 maybe? I definitely am not an expert handicapper.

I thought I heard he’s leaving before the 1 pocket event.

Looks like you are correct. Shane is listed on the players list for the European open that starts on the 11th.

Doesn't look like he entered the banks either after looking at the brackets. The bank tourney is a dramatic drop off in talent, with less than 30 players listed so far and a number of sub 700 Fargo players listed.

He's not playing in them, he's on his way to play in the European open.
