Here are some pictures from the final day of the 2009 US Open. Congrats to Mika on doing something incredibly difficult. Winning back to back Open's. Awesome feat. The other big story this year was AZ's own Donny Mills and his run at this years event. He showed a lot of people that he has the talent and heart to play with the best in the world.

Thanks for the pics, buddy. I didnt make it out for the finals my back hurt too much. I was going to go over with JA and sweat it out, that would have been fun but my back had a different plan. I really need to get on the doner list for a new spine.


The tournment was great this year, Kelly and I had a great time, She has never been to a big tournment like this before, she loved it. She took care of JA's kids last night and had fun(she loves kids like we do pool), It was a fun time. I have a great girl, I'd be done without her.

Quick question. Do you have any idea what's up wit the upside down Brunswick patch on Mika's shirt? Some sort of gang sign? :smile:

Great photography as usual Justin. The classic picture is the one of Mika in the chair and Nick Varner sitting right behind him. That is a very nostalgic picture. I would buy that one. Nice work.

I went to dinner with Mika before the finals and he was talking about that. The logo is an adhesive backed patch like most of the logos on the shirts. When he put it on that morning he just put on upside down on accident. He figured that since he had made it this far with it upside down he wasnt going to mess with it. Looks like he was right.

At the dinner I kept trying to get Mika and Shane to woof at each other for a TAR match but neither one would bite. Someday. :D

The secret is out!

Now everbody knows that all they have to do to win the US Open is to where an upside down patch while they play!:wink:
