Thanks to Jeff Gregory for keeping it real and reminding everybody what this thread is about. DO NOT LET THIS GO, THIS CREEP TOOK YOUR MONEY AND HE IS COUNTING ON YOU TO JUST SLOWLY FORGET ABOUT IT.

If anybody wants to go to Fairfield to try and talk to Tony about this, pm me. I will bring a video camera and wait for his creepy ass to show up. Then we post his crap on Youtube. Nobody tries harder to win a dickhead contest than me.

Tony, where are you? We know you read this every day. Have you talked to your "contacts" yet?

Can you suggest a payment plan for the USPPA organizer? Maybe he needs ideas on how to start a layaway plan. Perhaps you can send him some funds to get some staff to help with the processing of funds. You know some organizers aren't accountants, they could use all the help they can get.

As soon as he pays everyone and can post up (no checks or IOU'S) cash he just may get his wish. Since your his flunky maybe you should pay everyone since he cuffed you also, but you didn't care. Again, pay everyone and post up CASH, and he may get his wish. I'll be waiting to see if all those players get paid.

Quit talking, posting, complaining, you know what you have to do. Would you guys get an attorney? At least speak to one. The fraud is over $500 so it's a felony. How many people got defrauded out of more than $500? How many felony counts is that, plus going across state lines? Nevada is really tough about keeping their image clean. Anyone contact a newspaper? Why has Tony time to issue a boxing challenge and not time to tell the truth about the fraud? When is Tony going to take Chris up on the challenge? These and other questions go unanswered. Tony won't step up. I think I might knock his pencil from his ear. What would he use to right notes to himself ( sue Bob, sue Cal, not pay the players, Bankrupt my next backer, become a world champion snooker player, etc.) .

Thanks for your input, I just want to get paid man. It is coming up on 2 months since I won this tourney and I am still waiting, Spoke with Annigoni last Friday and he told me it would be anywhere from 60-120 days now before we get paid.
If that is the case, that would mean up to 6 months after the tournament was over that he would pay the winners. That seems like a long time, Is interest paid on top of that money too? Just curious.
I guess I have questions that I need answers for. I need to talk to someone about what I can do to get paid. Starting to lose hope here, it keeps getting longer and longer......
 
Start Official Boycott of all USPPA Events

The players that are owed monies and all potential players, in future USPPA events, should seriously start a boycott campaign including sending letters, stating what happened, in clearly written English to any and all Nevada Casinos/Hotels. Get the room owners that stage USPPA events to help stop this kind of alleged fraud.

The injured players should unite behind Jeff Gregory and California Billiards in leading the effort. It would be really great to have an organized effort! NO BS. JUST DO BUSINESS FOR AND BY THE PLAYERS. Apologies to Jeff and CaliBilliards for mentioning them!!!!

Down with the irresponsible promoters!

It's quite ironic looking at Aballs avatar and how it relates to this thread, one paddler one huge shark and we know where there's one shark there is probably more.

Jeff,

I think you need to have Tony put the date he plans on paying you down on paper with his signiture. This will give you a deadline that he needs to meet or you take him to court. If he does not want to put pen to paper then you know he is full of shit and you should take legal action right away. This is a shitty position to be put in, but you need to protect your money. I also think you and Carl should do this together, there is power in numbers. Hope to see you this month for our new one-pocket weekend. Best of luck.

Jeff, how much money was embellzelled? Between you and all the other players. You're never going to get money out of someone who doesn't have any money and that is an employee of the USPPA. Your best bet is to talk to the district attorneys office in Reno and tell them the amounts stolen. How many players times the entry? Then the only person who may have any money would be the Peppermill or the woman who does own the business. Are there any tournaments being held? You could get an order from court and attach any future earnings, blah, blah. You know what you have to do, you just don't like the idea of cutting off your chances. Between slim and none, what are your chances of getting paid? Have you heard anything about the Banks tournament Bob was going to start?

Hi Chris - I guess it would have to be someone closer to California/Nevada and that was injured materially by Tony. I live in the Philippines but I'm from the Bay Area and Sacramento so I know the scene well since 1962 when I started playing!

I wish I had played and placed high in the USPPA Reno tournament and if I was still in Cali I would help!

Although not directly involved, I have many friends in your area and I actually I played in your November tournament while I visited Jeff Gregory and friends. You and I met late at night when Oscar and Ernesto was finishing the 3 cushion table. I even donated some one pocket cash to Kentucky the following day! We had a great time playing and I enjoyed California Billiards so much! It was the first time I was at California Billiard Club and it is so great. One of the best pool halls ever!

I'm just trying to help from afar and keep the threads alive!

I wish all the players the best and the crooks the worst!

You are right tuck., but what I am trying to get is Tony A. to sign that he is directly responsible for the money!!! When I get some free time we need to get together and set the rules up for the BANK POOL TOURNAMENT.

Thanks for your help guys. I will talk to you both when I come down in a couple weeks to work in San Jose. I am still waiting for Annigoni to update his website with the payment plan for paying the players like he said he was going to do.

I just want to add that although I did win, I didn't steal his white cane as many suggested. He could partily see in one eye.
 
Tomorrow is friday and looks like the update on the payment plan has not been put on the 2 Cushion Club website or the USPPA website. Not sure why.
