The pockets on the 7' Valley I just got are 4 3/8" wide. That's not standard for a Valley is it. No wonder I'm stuck on a 9-ball 3-pack. Johnnyt

wow that is tight for a valley, that would mean 2 balls together would not fit at 4 3/8 point to point. Is the table new?

No it is a used Valley. It was in some bar/poolroom in Georgia in 1998. It's in fair to good condition. It might need new rubber for the rails as two of them(the head rail and 1 of the sides) are pretty dead. The whole rail is dead so it might just need to be tightened. I'll try and thighten them in the morning and get a serial # to see where it was built and how old it is. Two balls can not be forced in the corner pockets. Johnnyt

As Ernesto would say, "it's good for you".

No more happy hour for me. They call me clean living Johnny now. I never did go to happy hour anyhow...too many novices.
I will try and post pictures later today. I have to dig my old, old digital camera out and try to wake the hamster up. Johnnyt

I'll be very impressed if you can post the pictures. I've being trying to learn how to post pictures for about a year. Most of this stuff is beyond me. Maybe I need to get the 12 year old neighbor kid to help me. We'll be waiting for the pictures.

I found my camera but my daughter has the software for the camera on the PC I gave her. Now I have to find the sw disc for the camera grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm in the middle of like 10 things right now, and I don't multitask well at all. I'll get the picture up tomorrow. Johnnyt

I found the SW for the PC but I have Windows Vista now and it won't download it. The camera is an old Polaroid 320 so I might be out of luck until one of my borrowed laptops comes back from my kids. Anyhow Monday morning the mechanic is coming to re cloth and put new rail rubber on. Then I won't be on here much for awhile.

I have a guy coming in a few weeks to do about $10,000 worth of work to my house. I've known him for years. He likes to gamble big. I need to practice to see if I can cut his bill down a bit. Johnnyt
