I have to make some trips down to Washington and Delaware the week of this event and was wondering if anyone on AZ is going?

Has anyone seen a list of vendors posted anywhere?

The dates of the event are Nov. 14th - 17th at the old Expo location in King of Prussia.

Thanks

Hey Driver,

I'll be there playing in all three events. In the past, only a few cue repair guys have attended. A couple of "local" billiard supply guys are there as well. Nothing like SBE. Don't believe there will be separate tables for challenge matches.

Look forward to meeting you. I'm easy to find. Just look for the old guy with the vision impaired "tapper" .

Anybody have any idea what the vendor list looks like? I'm going up sat or sun. Unfortunately not playing. I'm just wondering what cue makers will be there etc. looking to get another cue and case. No challenge tables that's no fun I hope that info is incorrect. I guess there is always Drexel line for people to mAtch up.

Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was SBE. Allen Hopkins is organizing this, so I think its has the potential to be SBE winter

There will be tables available for coughchallegecough, practice 1 on 1. Players have to be smart and not flaunting, barking or make a scene. Remember there is a casino above you, so don't put Allen Hopkins in a bad spot.

There will be at least 2 vendors there.

When he had these mid year events there isn't usually many vendors plus I doubt there is much room for the tournament and vendors.

Am I going? no! I only goto the expo because everything around the tournament. The tournament itself it single elimination garbage with players in it that our far from amateur. with no vendors and no pro tournament to watch I have no interest.

Well not sure how my schedule will work out but I do plan on stopping for atleast one day.

Thanks for everyone's replies.

I live around the corner. Old expo = new casino.

No vendor list yet on the website.

Wow! It's at the Valley Forge Casino. Yikes! :shocked2::shocked2::shocked2:

That kind of squashes the action table action. :embarrassed2:

The good thing about this tournament is that it's only 4 days in length, making it easy for the working man to attend.

That casino is a draw for some folks. :D

Interesting.

Not too much room for error inna race to 5.

$75 entry race to 5 . Need them rolls! :indecisive:

I don't think that will squash the action table, people will just have to be a bit more reserved about things.

VF 9 ball Championship

Up to 111 entries in the open. $5000 off the top for 1st place won't leave much for the runners up. Still it's good to see someone putting on quality events for players. Should be a lot more of these out there.
