Bob, the first year I went, my buddy and I stayed at the Hampton Inn King of
Prussia. It's on the other side of the Mall, but we also got a 10% discount with
a AAA card. The rooms are really nice and clean. Flat screen TV's. The worst part
about it was the fact that when your coming back to the hotel, if you come from
the Mall side, which was the SBE side, there was no turn to get in. You had to
pass the Hotel up, and do a U-Turn about 1/4 mile past the Hotel. Well, you had
to turn left into a residential street, and turn around to come back to take a right
hand turn into the driveway. That was the only way to get in. The street is a big
4 lane street with a devider and no break to make the turn into the driveway.
Not a big price to pay when your under a C-note a night after taxes in a nice hotel.
I see that it is about 10 miles away from the new location, but if the drive and the
entrance don't bug you, it's a great price for a very nice hotel. From what I
remember, we also got a free breakfast every morning. Not a continental breakfast
either. It was pretty loaded. Eggs, bagels, toast, sausage, bacon, muffins. Really nice
getup. If I go, I'll probably end up there again.
