Congrats!

I know that most women dont worry like men do about pregnancies. I was talking to my wife last night and asked her if she was every worried about the baby and the health. She said, NO!, I told her I worried the entire time she was pregnant. (My daughters are 17 and 19!)

I am glad that everything is going well.

I know it is a load off your mind. It sure was for me after they were born.

Are you going to cut your new son's ferrule down to 3/4" to minimize deflection or keep it at a full inch? :eek: :eek: :D :D.

I'm so happy for you; I know that you and your wife must be ecstatic!

We as a very tight knit community here on AZ know that this has been an especially trying year for your immediate family. Being blessed with a baby will forever change your life and that of those around you. Babies are programmed with a desire to be LOVED (and fed ALLOT)!

I'm no saint but I recite Philippians 4:13 almost daily, it states that;
"I can do ALL THINGS through Christ whom strengthens me".

We are a diverse group with different beliefs from all parts of the world. The main thing is to know that faith will bring you peace and solitude in the most trying of times. HAPPY DAYS KEVIN, your son has been blessed to have an intelligent, supporting and most important loving family. I'm so very happy for you and your wife!

Kevin enjoy every precious day the next year will bring. Be there for all of the milestones in your sons development that are so much fun! Make sure to prioritize; be there for them, it's great to watch these precious little infants develop and progress; I know that you will enjoy this too!

Remember pool is a game, we all take great pride in it as you do in your work; but the impressions that you as a Father can make on your family far outweigh our hobby! Another words take your time! Life doesn't have a rewind button but you can exercise your right to press Pause! Your faithful will be here for you when you are ready!

My new Varney is quickly becoming my go to cue. I've almost become completely comfortable with the switch from the Darrin Hill!

congrats!!!! i have never had any kids, i'm starting to get into the mood to have a little girl or boy, or both, I turned 41 yeasterday so i gotta do something soon, congrats again!!!! and JimS is right never forget about mama-I'm lucky to have a great girl, it took me along time, a real long time. I want to have kids in 2-3 more years, my dad was 43 when I was born-i miss him.

to you and your wife, almost a 9 ball! .... LOL I can still remember when my little guy was born. Now, I look up at him, 6' and 250 lbs.

A lot of Joy is on the way, and a lot of other things you will learn about ... :rolleyes:

Well done Kevin,(& wife)!I am very excited for '08,as you know my 1st Varney is due in 2-3 months, should be a little smaller,though,a little over a pound(probably a girl). If she turns out like I think she will,I will name her Hevin in honor to you! Enjoy fatherhood,and wishing you all a great year! Jim PS- let me know when the stork might land when you can.
