Varney - veneered fullsplice for Ed

Varney Cues

Handcrafted quality!

Here is one for my buddy Ed. I picked up a couple of blanks from Schmelke that were graded 2nd's due to cosmetic imperfections. Priced right, they make excellent playing cues...I wish I could get a couple more but sadly they aren't available any longer. This one is rosewood into maple. Thank you Ed!:)

nice clean work as usual Mr. Varney.
Any plans of doing your own points soon?

Thank you for the kind words. No plans on doing any fullsplice although I have in the past done some short splices. Seems that most of my customers are more concerned with premium performance and prefer the affordability of my merry widow style cues. The extra time involved in building veneered cues bumps the price up in the range of so many other makers offerings...and out of the budget of many.

It looks great Kevin, Im sure it will play and hit just as good as my other Varney's. It will make a great bar league cue Im sure, thanks << ED

Kevin

Thats a dandy.

You should be proud.

Do you ever build a cue and have a hard time selling it? I think it would be like selling one of your children. Good thing I dont build cues.....:p

Nice Cue Kevin, it really came out looking clean. Schemelke is also a great company to do business with, I do quite a bit of business with them myself.

Take care

Got it ...

I just want to say I got the cue today and went out and hit a couple balls with this and I left others play with it also, I couldn't keep peoples hands off of it. It has a good feel and plays very well. Draws the rock very effortlesly, and can put it where ever I want with Kevins low deflection shaft. I know alot of it has to do with ability but I had alot of admirers on the looks and the feel of the cue...Thanks alot Kevin,,<<ED
