For those attending the BCA tournaments next week in the Riv., is it even worth it to walk down the strip past the Wynn which I've heard is pretty much the finest casino in all the land?

A couple of years ago a friend and I were getting ready to head to the south strip from the Riv for the evening. When we met up he is real excited saying we gotta go across the street to Slots of Fun and play this new game “Deuces Wild Hold Um Fold Um” he said he was there earlier in the day and was just winning and winning. The max bet is $25 dollars and he won a few hundred pretty quick before he had to leave. We went over there walked up to the game sat down and same thing win win win. We both won 3 or 4 hundie walking around money for down on the south strip.
As we were sitting there my buddy told the dealer about our extraordinary luck at the game. The dealer said “I’ve been dealing this game since they set it up three days ago and I haven’t seen anyone lose yet”. Still taking everything with a grain of salt we colored up our winnings and headed out. The next night we are stoked we started out to get all moneyed up across the street. We walked in and there was a well worn blackjack table in place of the brand new Deuces Wild Hold Um Fold Um table. My buddy ask the dealer “what happened to the other game?”
“We had to pull that game” he said
We found the same game at other casinos but the rules were different and it was just a trap like 3 card poker, but for three days it looked like somebody made a mistake on the rules and a game was really paying out for once. In retrospect we have always said we should have sat there 24/7 until they pulled the game.
Now that is a damn shame, 'Sluts o' fun' was awesome...CrownCityCorey said:Slots o' Fun is has been closed.
