I can't thank everyone enough for responding to the veneer, better thread, All of you have were outstanding. I picked this week to do this thread cause I was cutting shafts. Anyone who runs a one man shop knows, if you cut shafts, you have a little free time. I have wanted to do the thread for quite a while. I tried to respond to all posters as open minded and Professional as I could. It was an open Cue maker thread but it was also a one on one from myself because veneers in general is something I feel very strongly about. All disciplines of them, not just one. The thread ran a great course and I am very proud of the topic in general as well as everyone's participation. I asked Mr. Wilson to close it because I felt it might get to the point of beating a dead horse so to speak, I hope more threads like this start on different topics by Cue makers when they are doing something boring like cutting shafts or whatever. I also hope that who ever starts a thread like this, tries to maintain it and keep it on track. Cue makers that followed this and responded as open minded as I tried to, YOU ROCK.
Thank you again and Thank you Mr. Wilson.

Michael,

I appreciated the way you controlled the thread like a commentator, keeping everyone on point with respect to the topic. A lot of detailed and critical information was shared in a very respectful way.

Great job!

You did a GREAT job Mike.

After a couple of days of following the thread and after a couple of pages, one thing started to become clear. You stayed on top of it and kept it on track. The fact that you answered just about every response cemented your involvement. Bravo.

The thread went very well and a lot of useful information (and opinion) was shared. Thanx for a GREAT thread.

Nice Job

No one was killed or wounded by the usual brawls that break out. God, how those get tiring. So great job Mike, and thank you.

A peaceful cue building thread. What next? Mike to tackle world peace??

Thank you Gentlemen, I think it might have become obvious, All of the Cue makers knowingly, or unknowingly but equally, played a great role in this thread. We may sometimes agree to disagree and we are different but sometimes, Not so different.
