Very few accessories in your case

LMAO

I had a guy ask what I was doing with the 20. I told him and he asked if it had to be a 20 or if he could use a 1 or a 5. I said absolutely not.....it's either a crispy clean 20 or higher... nothing else works. He asked why and I told him it was too complicated to explain the physics behind it.

Next time, if someone is watching and questions the process, I'm adding "The bill must be discarded after use, like so...." and I'll wad the 20 up and toss it on top of the Diamond light fixture. Then I'll say, "It's for good luck...that's how I get all my good rolls. It's hard to tell how many 20's I've tossed up on these lights in here." That'll have the guy on tippy toes! ;)

Reminds me of the time the room owner super-glued a half dollar to one of the small drinks-and-ashtray shelves that lined the walls around the room. It was one close to the counter so he could ( and, anyone sitting at the counter ) see it clearly. Endless hours of entertainment watching people trying to be creatively clever in sliding it off the shelf and into their pocket without anyone seeing them do it! :rotflmao1:

I'm a person who brings all my tip tools and case pockets full of stuff when I go to the pool hall. But I realized that I do all my tip shaping and shaft smoothing at home. I don't need to haul that stuff with me for regular practice.

Does anyone carry few things with them besides their cues to the pool hall? Maybe a Fellini case or just a few things, keeping most things at home.

I keep very little in my 2 x 4 Katana: Small bottle of hand powder, 3 pieces of Master chalk, a small thin hand towel and my Brad scuffer. A lot of times, I'll just go to the pool room with one cue in my Fellini case or my 1 x 1 Katana.

I carry either a 1x2 case or 2x3 if I want to take the break/Jill cue along neither case has a pocket.

I carry one piece of blue magic chalk in the top of the case (in a rubber thing so it doesn’t messy the case) I also keep a Q-wiz in my wallet. That’s it.

I am 91 years young and my needs have changed. I now carry, stool softener, prune juice and a tip shaper.

I carry nothing lol. There’s a piece of leather and a 1x2 piece of 220 in my wallet and I have a scuffer I made out of deer antler that stays on my keychain that personally I’ve never used on my cue and it’s about 3 years old.....others ask for it lol.

That’s it

I think this depends on if you have your own table. If you do, you are more likely to maintain your equipment at home and not bother to bring it with you. While, if league or pool hall is your only refuge then you're kinda forced to keep your stuff together. For me it's a Sunday morning ritual. Get up, go downstairs, vacuum/clean table, polish balls, clean cue, shape tip, whether it needs it or not lol never carry anything other than. Cues and chalk. Always carry chalk!

Of all the stuff in my case, the only things that really get used are the chalk and the Q Claw. The rest is pretty much in there for a "just in case" scenario. Kind of like jumper cables in your vehicle. Depending on the condition of your ride, you will probably never need them, but its nice knowing they are there in case you do.

You might change your mind about pool hall food if you played at Chris’ room in Boone, NC
...I had some great meals there.
