Very few accessories in your case

I'm a person who brings all my tip tools and case pockets full of stuff when I go to the pool hall. But I realized that I do all my tip shaping and shaft smoothing at home. I don't need to haul that stuff with me for regular practice.

Does anyone carry few things with them besides their cues to the pool hall? Maybe a Fellini case or just a few things, keeping most things at home.

Most players don't bother to do that shaft/tip maintenance stuff at home before they head out to the poolroom, which is why they have and keep all that stuff with them.

I take a scuffer and a piece of chalk and a power bar of some kind and a couple of energy gels.

I need the food coz I am bad about eating at tourneys. Pool room food is not appealing.

I have two tappers/shapers along with a magic eraser and some microfiber cloths in my case. Chalk also I guess if you can count that as an "accessory". Even if I don't use it, I find that other players could, especially new players. If I run across someone that has some gross shaft I offer to get it cleaned up for them, check the tip, etc... Often it leads to a new regular player at the places I play at.

A hand towel, a tip pick, the ultimate tip tool, a couple of gloves, and 2 or 3 pieces of chalk. Also Advil and Zantac. :)

I play with a medium hard tip that seldom needs shaping. The first thing I do after taking the cue out of the case is clean and shine/reburnish the side of the tip -- lick your finger and wipe it around the tip, then wrap a clean $20 bill around it and twist it a few times. It looks great, fresh, and makes me feel fresh and ready to play. I don't keep the spit or the 20 in my case.:rolleyes:

I carry all that too along with Gas Ex. Never tried the 20 dollar trick. But I will give it a try. :)

Peasant, in my area we use at least a $50. If it's on a REVO shaft, $100 or you get ridden out of town on the rail. And you have to then throw the bill away and use a clean one next time.

LMAO

I had a guy ask what I was doing with the 20. I told him and he asked if it had to be a 20 or if he could use a 1 or a 5. I said absolutely not.....it's either a crispy clean 20 or higher... nothing else works. He asked why and I told him it was too complicated to explain the physics behind it.

Next time, if someone is watching and questions the process, I'm adding "The bill must be discarded after use, like so...." and I'll wad the 20 up and toss it on top of the Diamond light fixture. Then I'll say, "It's for good luck...that's how I get all my good rolls. It's hard to tell how many 20's I've tossed up on these lights in here." That'll have the guy on tippy toes! ;)

Jin carries his chalker, glove, last forever tip tool, lightsout poker chip, cue holder, microfiber,

I just checked inside my case. I guess I carry a little bit more than I thought I did.

I do tend to carry more when I have my 3x6 with a big pocket. Generally I make sure I have my microfiber towel and a scuffer. Anything else is incidental, but there are usually a few incidentals like my moose bridge head...couple different scuffers...and a couple or three chalks.

If I have just the Fellini, I have a cue cube on my keychain...and that's all I need.

You might change your mind about pool hall food if you played at Chris’ room in Boone, NC
...I had some great meals there.

I carry a tip pic, cue towel, RJ’s chalk, and directions to the nearest ATM...

Tip tapper, ultimate tip tool, two chalks, a small towel, Johnson's baby powder,
and a red circle CB. I also have some of those synthetic 'Cue Smooth' sandpapers,
only use the finest grade once in a great while. The red circle CB gets used a lot for 1P.
