Here is hand carved Antique cue stick Cane. This item was most likely made in Germany, but I have no idea for certain. It is made from Rosewood, and the shaft is carried separately, there is no case for this cue however, I would suspect that it came with one originally.

Here are the photo's!!

If anyone has an idea where this was made please let me know. Any comments would be appreciated!!!

Enjoy

no idea

I never saw a Cue like this ..also not here in Germany.

This one has to be very old ... if you look on the screw .... would rate them before 19th century.

But i am not sure ........

However ..thanks for sharing the pics :)

Thanks very Much Berny, I also think it may be from the 18th century.

Have a great day!

Well for sure it's not from the 1700's (18th Century). The leather tip was not invented until ~1800 (19th century) and the jointed cue was not invented until 1829.

I don't know who made it, but my guess would be that is from the early 20th century. Probably 1920's or 30's.

It's really interesting. E-mail the pic's to Mike Shamos, he could tell you for sure of it's age.

I agree. ;)

Craig,

Unbelievable, but I hae an identical cue! Same wood, same everything! I also have a cloth case that I got that had always been with the cue. If I get a chance I will send you a picture. The cue is currently at my other house on the other side of town, but I will try to put a picture up in the near future.

....Thought you would like to know there is another one.

Will
