How many other people watched that video, saw the earl imitation video in the suggestion box on the right, and clicked to watch it *yet again* even though we've all cracked up at it ten times?

PS: damn you shoot really textbook, nice smooth stroke without excess motion.

Best way to relax is having a nice rolling session in brazilian jiujitsu, then go play pool or watch MMA afterwards.

Joe man, check out the pool scene in Sydney. They get all the tournaments from Asia on TV down there. Just wondering how that has affected the pool biz down under.

That was as strong as gorilla breath,good shooting and keep up the pool impersonations ,that Earl bit was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time .Thanks for the comic relief Peteypooldude

On a more serious note that friggin video has over 6000 views and 149 comments already. Most pool videos dont top that in a year.

Just goes to show how much a celebrity that people are interested in can help promote the sport.
 
celeb/poker challenge

i'd like to throw nick schulman (poker pro) into the mix. saw him when he was known as "little nicky" in nyc when he was a teenager and the kid could play. he can run 100+.

now he's won over 3mil in poker tournaments, so i guess he mainly does that.

i'd guess that he plays stronger than negraneu

but that's be a great addition to the charity event.

you'd have entertainment stars (rogan, sorvino), athletes (manny, lofton, alonzo), poker stars (negraneu, nick).

todd martin (former tennis pro) also shoots a mean game.

i'd love to see this happen.

speaking of celebrities.....I was on vacation in NYC and I played some pool solo at Amsterdam Billiards to pass the time. I asked the tall gentleman at the table next to me to play, as he was pretty dang good, banking in balls, running out, probably an A player or close to it. He said he only played a few times a year as he was so busy and I was confused by that because he was pretty good at pool. I even thought it could be a hustle LOL.we talked about work and he said he used to be in athletics and he was involved charity and running tennis camps. He didnt say anything about Wimbledon! When we were done playing after an hour or so, people were asking for his autograph! and I thought he used to be a famous pool player or something. Turns out he was/is an awesome tennis player! That dude is extremely humble and an inspiration! He is really giving back to his community as well with non profit camps! It is awesome that pool can be a vehicle to meet some really cool people sometimes and I walked away from those games stoked.
