Here's a vintage black-and-white from the 1983 Dayton Open, courtesy of Bill Porter and Michael Haines.

First time I met Jim Rempe was at Salt City Billiards in New York at a time before the fire and previous owners. It was on the Joss Tour. I asked Jim if I could take his photo, and at first, he was uncomfortable and said, "Who's it for?" I said it was just for me personally. I think he was worried about me selling it for some reason. He then complied.

What strikes me about this photo is Jim staring at the camera with a scowl on his face. I think he must have had a bad experience with people selling his likeness and making a profit without including him in the payday.

Recognize anybody else on the rail?

Here is another photo from the same event shared by Mary "Mare" Kenniston on Facebook.

The late Bobby Legg shooting. He was from my neck of th woods, up Baltimore way, He would play any living creature who came to town.

Daryll ("Bo") Donohue and Roy Ruffin seated on left.

Is that young Keith on the far left?
As Jay said, it is not Keith. Keith was a skinny son-of-a gun back in those days, but he did have a head of hair then and does now, although a wee bit gray today.

If you ever want to take a walk down Memory Lane with photos, check out Mary Kenniston's Facebook page. It is like a photographical archive of pool. She gets contributions to her collection as well as sharing some of her own.

On the first photo in this thread, Mary writes Larry Wiggins seated on far left, Lou Zehnder, Daryll ("Bo") Donohue, Roy Ruffin to the left of Jim Rempe. Jack Jarvis middle row (third from left) Larry Myers (second from right).

This is my favorite pool video ever: The 1982 Dayton Open, Earl's first big win. They're all there. You may have to suffer through a short commercial before you get to the video, but it's worth the wait. There's Earl, Buddy, Mike, Cornbread Red, Grady, Danny D. St. Louie Louie, etc., etc.
There's a few more of those videos by Porter with a lot of pictures I've been trying to find them I can't seem to find them but I'm sure somebody on here knows links to them.
