Virtual Pool 4 Is Now Released

VP4 online works fine with my Norton 360. Now I just need the time to memorize the many keystrokes. I still like to spectate. I'm learning a lot about 3 cushion billiards.

I just checked out the web site.. I will say this. The game was made by pool players. There is an option to play the ghost. Only pool players know what that means. lol even casual players of the game look at you like your crazy when you say part of my practice is playing the ghost.

Well I didn't change my basic opinion for me personally is I have a laptop with the simulator on it and a pool table. I'm playing pool. But that's just me lol

When I try to register VP4 offline version, the program does not see my internet connection. The online version connects ok. I have turned off antivirus and firewall, and that made no difference.
Any ideas?

We all, including me, need to start doing the real stuff in life!!!

Wedge

Did it ever occur to you before you pushed the submit button that maybe some of Us that do use this simulator are not able to go play real pool due to a physical disability?? I didnt think so. Next time you see a thread like this one, maybe youll stop and weigh your comments before pass judgement.... If this simulator isnt for you, so be it........There are plenty of able bodied people who do play real life pool, that use this as a training aid.... I myself did when I was playing real life pool....Dont think everyone on the other side of a computer screen is in good enough health to play real life pool..... Trust me, I myself would give anything to play a game of real life straight pool once again..... Have a great day

Mouse Stroking

Is there any way to stroke the cue without having to try and stroke the mouse?
I don't always have enough room on my mouse area and find that stroking the mouse isn't a very natural thing to do.
Another method of stroking the cue would be appreciated. The system used on the MSN gaming zone is an example of what would seem to be easier.

you can use a trackball mouse , which is perfect for this. There are 2 types. The type that the ball sits on top or the type that the ball is on the thumb side. I use this type .. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/wireless-trackball-m570?crid=8. its perfect for this..... or you can use this type also http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/trackman-marble?crid=8

I don't know why anyone would put down VP. It's been amazing since version 1.

Nobody suggested it could, should or work replace real pool. I used to play pool on the tables, play coworkers on VP, got some non-pool playing friends into pool by teaching them some things using VP. It was additive, not replacing or subtracting from pool.

One of my ex-gf's improved tremendously on the real table after learning aiming playing the game. I was surprised how much it helped her game, and how quickly.

Cool game, and I'm not a gamer. Last game I played was pong. Is there any way to use CTE on it. Nevermind, I'll ask JB :). Johnnyt
