Nice!!!I like the look of walnut in a cue, but I really like the highly figured stuff...This is a cue I made to sell, but liked it too much and kept it. It's my daily player. It has a few battle scars Unfortunately and some finish lift (I no longer use that finish) Too bad the pictures don't catch the color well, or the shimmering effect that walnut has.

I like walnut/black walnut especially fiddle-back. What you can't see in this picture is the chatoyance - it's easily as impressive as the maple. (Cue still needs final sanding)
The stuff I have is lighter than maple, so it needs cored, but it's gorgeous.

That is some beautiful wood in that cue.Southwest Virginia walnut burl and quilted maple. My regular player for about 4 years with no problems.
