Yes I did see him play many times in person. He probably had the longest pause of any player ever. You could practically recite the entire alphabet during one of his pauses. It was abnormally long, and for me, excruciating to watch. But he made it work for him. He kept that same long pause all the way through his life.
 
I can't argue with what worked for such a great player, but if I were an instructor, I can't see myself ever recommending a pause as long as Cicero's

Now one like Lou's? Pure butter, baby.
 
Methinks you are right, Lou has one of the best pauses I have ever seen.

I made a comment about me not pausing on backswing and sent a short vid to Cornerman(hopefully it went throug) maybe he'll chime in and let me know I do pause lol. I just don't see it though

Now, there is NO DOUBT Lou has a pause(almost as long as Shanes on some shots) this is from watching the first 4 shots of Lou v Barton - didnt need to watch any more.

Absolutely.... GUILTY. The Pause that refreshes. And it's not how long ...it's how you use it.....oops wrong subject.

I'm enjoying my REVO..so it's ugly...so I'm I .... Sometimes it's about function not fashion.
Lou's comments started out with it won't hold up to it's ugly. Glad I got one before the non-owner reviews came out.
