Wanted: Local Boys and Girls Club Recreation/POOL room, needs

MAGAZINES or POOL BOOKS, INSTRUCTIONAL BOOKS AND DVD'S OR VHS TAPES ALL WOULD BE USEFUL - Today, 07:38 AM

I am a volunteer for the Largo/Clearwater Florida Boys and Girls Club, They just remodeled the Recreation room, including 6--41/2 x 9' Diamond Pool Tables and 2 6 x 12 Snooker Tables. Mikes Billiards donated the Simonois Cloth and the Accu-Fast Rails and the room is dressing up very nice. When the room was being made, they also included a Reading and Library room, IN THIS ROOM THEY HAVE, TABLES, SHELVES, MULTIPLE PERSONAL TV'S AND DVD'S/VHS COMBOS WITH HEADSETS, SO THE KIDS CAN WATCH INSTRUCTIONAL DVD'S AND VHS TAPES OF POOL AND BILLIARDS.


We are trying to get as many, POOL AND BILLIARDS, 3-CUSHION, SNOOKER and any other POCKET BILLIARDS RELATED----MAGAZINES
POOL AND BILLIARDS, BILLIARDS DIGEST, AMERICAN CUEIST, ANY OTHER MAGAZINES that are POOL RELATED.

ALSO, any books that are Pool or Billiards Related,

I personally, just donated about a two weeks ago, after I got out of the hospital, and gave my personal library to be included in the Recreation Reading room, I doanted 115 Books and over 85 Magazines.

So, please reach deep and give whatever you have lying around that the kids could learn or get some enjoyment from.

The books and magazines can be Shipped to:

this was posted in the instructional reviews section, so i thought i'd post it here.

I have sent a copy of my book for you, and i see Jay has already beat me to it :thumbup: lets all help its for a great cause.
 
I will go through my pile of book and see what I can get rid of. I think it's great what you are doing and I will be in touch.
 
Where abouts is this rec room located in Largo? I've never heard of a rec room in that area with 6 Diamond tables. Johnnyt
 
The books and magazines are slowly coming in and the shelves are

filling up.

Love to get any Instructional DVD's and VHS tapes or Matches from the Past. We have put together 4 MEDIA STATIONS that allow the kids to sit down to a combo DVD/VHS machine and a small monitor and they can watch and listen through there own headset and watch the videos that are available to be checked out.

Please Pm me or e-mail me and I can give you the address on where to send the tapes and dvds or magazines or anything else the kids could use at the Club.

Sorry, I tried to correct the print on the tables that the kids have to play on, they have (1) Diamond Table that was used in a travelling tournament cirvuit and (1) Rare 6x12 Snooker table, which everyone knows that every few people get to play or experience play on these tables, since they are becoming very rare. Anyway, I appologize for the incorrect print, that said there were 6 Diamond Tables and 2 Snooker tables. The Club wold turn into a Pool Hall if we had all those tables. Anyway. Thanks again for any help and Happy New Year!!

i used to give to the boy and girls clubs [a lot] here in vegas and i just want to see if you know this:

do you know that in their advertising that are not using pictures of boy and girls from clubs??

do you know they are using "models" not intending honesty to community donors like me and others?

i hope you know. and if you do - FIX THIS BS.
