Waste of money pool items

To me it's too busy looking with too much information drawn on the ball, it needs to be more appealing to the eye then what it is. I attached a photo of what I would recommend. I have one of Aramith in red dot and black dot:
Those measle balls are heavier and in some cases a tad larger than the house set your parlor uses.
Found this out thru experimentation when deflect angles and draw weren't working as they should. Thot I was crazy at first. Nope. There's a diff. Wanted to toss that out there for terrible players like myself.
Hope it helps.

Pool table shot coaching system

Anyone interested in having a pre mapped portable electrical grid with fast response unit to play the shot? Think chess board with wifi, bte, am/fm, and other signal systems.

As soon as a player moves a ball the system predicts the general landing area and deploys a response.

Player plays a safe, the system will tell you which safes are available to play. Based on the opponents habits, the system will say which safe has the highest chance of being returned with a specific safe or offensive shot.

Playing a digital ghost is the commercial name. The codename for this project is ghost death box. As soon as the ghost is seen, it will have to run out fast or deny my safety play.

In testing I call it the ghost breaker.
Is the lobotomy for the player done b4 or afterwards??

Business Summary:
Emerging technology is not being adapted to the growing billiard market.
I have a proof of concept for automated AI billiard ball tracking and counting analysis.

The benefits of applying engineering to billiards broadcasting, means spending a few extra $$$$$ on powered devices.
The new powered devices can include a range of effects.

The lobotomy is continuous, it is a lifelong process. The failures of the past were the feedback loop was destructive. Today success has been achieved with a positive growth continuous feedback loop.

How can you take a bum and turn them into a pool player?
Let them play my pool coaching system and test them at the end of the week.

Players can master drills fast. An AI system is adaptive. Social media reprograms bots for instant decay or viral growth.
The system I developed will identify your strengths and preferences and then force you to play shots that do not match your strengths.

Think beginner chess. Most beginners can't beat the computer on basic. Players that want to go pro have to be challenged. If they can't beat my bots or stages, they aren't ready. Why invest money on players that think, when you can have a standards test?

Everyone keeps selling the same 10 easy exercises, then screws up on the pro stage because they trained, they didn't push their limits.

Invite me to the lab if you just want me to consult. I already have the home level version finished.

If I finish my integrated portable cam set up I will be in a pool room.

I hope Aramith releases extra sets of balls at different diameters and adjustable weight.

Now that pockets are getting smaller I would like to practice with bigger and heavier balls or lighter and heavier balls, always more dense, never the original weight.

The adjustable weight ball would be fun to have for tricks and demos.

There are tons of old ball sets, they could polish them down or add layers.

I never a bought a new ball set because they are mostly the same.

I would buy multiple weighted sets, just like when people but weights for lifting.

Did you drink the whole jar of 'Pool WivesTales' Kool-Aid?? Are you talking about Aramith Measel cb's? If so they are same size/weight as the non-dot version. https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/pool-ball-weights.536976/

Joint protectors. Two piece cues were just fine for 75 years or so but now you need something to protect the joint? Next thing you know they'll be making a joint protector protector.

I know some will disagree.
believe it or not, they actually make and sell,
joint protector holders

These actually aren't a horrible idea. If you do have jp's they can roll and get hid on the poolroom floor pretty easy. Now, whether or not jp's themselves serve a huge function is argument fit only for justnum and his mom's basement AI machine. ;)
if there were only some sort of "case" in which you could put those jp`s , maybe some cues, and other stuff
then id agree its not a horrible idea :ROFLMAO::LOL:

I can’t believe how many people, even some very good players, believe ball xyz is heavier/lighter/bigger/smaller than ball abc. We have so much actual data proving they are not.
Yep, I think it comes down to the composition of the phenolic. For example, people say the red circle are lighter, they are not. They are a different phenolic similar to the carom balls so they react differently.

A ball can "feel" heavier but they weigh the same.

I'm going to add one more to the list: The Simonis X-1 for removing chalk from the cloth. I've concluded that it cannot be doing anything because I've never seen any buildup of chalk on the pad other than a nominal amount when breaking it in. If the chalk isn't adhering to the X-1 pad then it is just getting smeared around the cloth. Waste of $25.

I love Kool aid!! Drink a gallon of grape every 2 days.
We just compared them side by side w the racks of balls at the hall I play in. The manager had a scale and weighed them for us, bcuz the measle was larger than the house balls and he thot it was heavier. Turns out it was. On both counts.
This is a radioactive area from WW2 uranium processing, so our balls have been the topic of conversation for many, many years.🤣🤣

I agree. Biggest waste of money I've ever spent on a pool related accessory. (For sale: 25 bux)

More like waste of $100

I can’t see any reason to tinker with the specifications for pool balls. Making them bigger or smaller, lighter or heavier, changes the standard and you must have standards in every sport or game. You just can’t improvise out of curiosity or
frustration with pocket sizes. And there are standards for pocket size, rails or pretty much everything. If you can run 3-4 racks in 14.1, I can understand any interest in experimenting with pool balls or table pockets. Until, or unless, one’s skills are at that level, stick to playing standard size pool balls/pockets since your overall pool game really has lots of room to improve, IMO.

Every Aramith measles ball I have bought has been 168-169 grams, right on the money. Most likely explanation is that the house balls were worn down and lighter than they should be. Either that or off-brand/knockoff measles balls.

Pros wouldn’t tolerate playing with them if they were heavier than a standard object ball.

This is why I have different shaft sizes. It's not to change it up if I am playing poorly.

It is to combat these mismatch cue balls we often see at pool halls.

It never occurred to me till one day I was shooting with a Mezz cue with a very small shaft and I notice the lack of power it generates on certain shots that involve heavy english. The cue just felt weak and you tend to feel it in the cue. I was so close to buying one but that day made me realize how much the size of a shaft can affect your game depending on the cue ball on the table.
