You should feel lucky that you haven't been banned like me WATCHEZ. That's right, but hey Mr. Wilson it is easy to get back on. Ban away. I guess women get a little bit more latitude with Mr. Wilson. Timberly & Marissa can call each other whores but they just get a slap on the wrist. Marissa can make comments about text messages she received in private but if I relate to a private message then my posts first get deleted then I get banned. Sounds like a two way street.

By the way, about those private messages that you receive. Be warned that AZ Mike & Mr. Wilson can read your private messages at any time. They really aren't private at all. Concealing this from everyone is borderline & dispicable. I was told this before but didn't believe it until I received a private message from Marissa & it showed as a 'read' message before I could actually read it myself. Come clean Mr. Wilson.

Then this Mr. Wilson sends me a private message saying I am a low form of life and dispicable. Nice to see that he is like a small dog barking behind a protective fence. Nice to see he acts so professional. Nice to see that he is a moderator that has pre determined sides that he will sit on. When I called him out for reading my private messages, he knew he was busted & abused his power by banning me. Oh well.

Maybe people didn't like me but from my prescious rep points I seemed to have a good standing.

This site is a joke. AZ Mike takes money for advertising from a criminal like KT but if you ever difference in opinion with another member, then you get barred. Well at least I got barred for what I believe. AZ Mike & Mr. Wilson let money run their lives & some sweet talking woman sway them. What is the post that got me barred? Because I reiterated the point that Marissa made about her boyfriend being thought of being gay? I don't know this guy & could careless. I was trying to tell her not to worry about it. SHE IS THE ONE THAT BROUGHT IT UP.

I've always assumed that this sites admins had access to PMs done on this site. Makes sense to me.
 
Posting this in every subforum was not needed.

Timberly has accused Wilson and I of being able to read PMs in the past but was unable to provide any proof when asked for it. She was not able to provide proof because she has none and this is because we can't.

There are two ways for staff to be able to view PMs. The site owner can install a mod to allow it (which I have not) or the host can go directly to the database and view the messages. With the current host, I can't even telnet into the box, let alone run a MYSQL editor to view the database.

This whole 'Mike and Wilson can read PMs' thing is getting old and it comes from the same conspiracy theorists that have accused me of a number of other things. They can't prove these things because they are not true. But these people (who know who they are) have never let facts stop them before. They are to busy patting themselves on the back for figuring things out.

This reminds me of something that happened the other week at a little bar I go to for a small weekly bar tournament.

A regular customer walks in. Bartender gal says "You've got to leave - you've been 86'd". Guy is all "FOR WHAT?" The guy running the tournament, a guy of not-insignificant size and attitude himself, tells the guy he has to leave. Guy gets belligerant, "F YOU F YOU F YOU" for about two minutes as he slowly makes his way to the door. Tears around the parking lot for about two minutes on his bike before heading out.

As it turns out, this guy had gotten piss-monkey drunk and had started a fight in the bar a day or two prior. But of course that's nothing to do with it - he's a VICTIM!

So I equate this thread with the whole "tearing around the parking lot on his bike" bit. :P

I especially like the "That's right, but hey Mr. Wilson it is easy to get back on." bit, posted from a second account he'd registered two months ago, as opposed to from an account created after getting whacked with the ban-stick. Touche, sir, touche!

That dang well does it! I demand my AZBilliards sign-up fees and monthly dues be refunded immediately! I'm going to PoolChat.net which is run by an person reknowned for his honesty and pleasant demeanor who knows how to treat valuable members right!

Last one out please turn off the lights. What, you're all still here? Oh well, I guess I'll stay for a bit longer then.

Then, like a car wreck, I had to look at FL's site.

Why did he photoshop a cue into 2 of his pictures?:confused:

I was told when I joined I had to do a pole-dance show for this camera every day or I'd get banned! You mean I was the only one?

Oh well, I guess it makes me feel special. Mike and Mr. Wilson tomorrow you get the oil and whipped cream as a special thank you ;-)

FWIW, You told me that up until a few months ago, you could see the PM's by going into the database. I don't run a msg board so I don't know what admin can & cannot do. I do know others that run vBulletin msg boards that have nothing to do with pool. I asked one of them about a yr ago if the admin could read PM's and they said yes. You admitted to me that you could read them until the software recently changed.

In answer to the point you made in your PM (which I kept and planned on replying to) Yes, I do have proof... from someone else and from you. When I asked, a yr ago, the vBulletin format that was out, did in fact allow admin to see the PM's.

Yes, up until a few months ago it was possible to read PMs by telnetting into the machine and viewing the database directly. It was a pain in the neck and I only did it once or twice when someone was being sent threatening messages or someone was offering to sell illegal items on the forums.

What troubles me is that you don't start off by saying "As far as I know, it is possible for admins to read PMs in Vbulletin". Instead, you run rampant with 'I know Mike and Wilson can do it. I have proof. blah blah blah'

The same as you went off over how you absolutely knew that I was APA7 and that I was logging into the forums under aliases to stir up trouble. Your proof? Fast Larry said so. Boy, I guess you all got me on that one.

Does it seems rational to post messages on a board that are critical of the people who run the board? Am I missing something here?
