Watchez Says Goodbye--az Can Read Your Private Messages

My photo is actually from a few months ago. Since then I have had plastic surgery and I am currently sporting the "pancake princess" look as depicted below. This picture was taken this morning as I was leaving after working the nightshift at the local Waffle House.

:p :p :p
I don't think there is such thing as a bad picture of you. Even the goofy ones are beautiful.

Wow, can I claim pre-senile dementia as an excuse? I've seen your avatar a zillion times, but nothing clicked when I tried to think of others using a recent photo. Maybe the three of us are the only ones on AZ who aren't ashamed to show our faces? Wait.....I think I left out Straybullet? Does this constitute a total highjack of this thread???? Probably.

I think I should be included :) My picture is about a year old (is that considered recent?)

BillPorter said:
OK, I guess to be fair you will post a recent picture of yourself so we can all judge whether you might be a pot calling a kettle......:D

You know, I may be about the only person on the board using an avatar that is from a very recent photo. BTW, my reason for using my own photo as an avatar hasn't panned out that well so far. I thought it would help me run into AZB'ers at Reno and the coming DCC, but I didn't meet up with any regular AZB posters at Reno.

Just for you BillPorter!

Don't worry about all the scars Bill, it was a tough neighborhood.

Thanks, Don. I guess this lays to rest the rumors about your facial disfigurement! :D :D :D

Are you sure?

This is me. Do you really want me to replace the Justis with this?

Darn, I was getting ready to start a really obscene thread, and just my luck, they start banning people. I never get to have any fun.

Very nice photo....

Wow, excellent shot! Are we to assume that this is a photo of you? And BTW, as I looked closely at the shot, it occurred to me that this might be about the best use of an AOL installation disc I've ever seen.

That's me in my Halloween costume for this year. (I'm an IT engineer, sad I know.) The AOL CD says "Risk Free Trial" on it!

The same as you went off over how you absolutely knew that I was APA7 and that I was logging into the forums under aliases to stir up trouble. Your proof? Fast Larry said so. Boy, I guess you all got me on that one.

Mike

That was me silly one.

And since you onced asked me how it happened, I will tell you. I spoke directly with the hacker (yes, someone who had actually hacked into the FBI files he was so good) who, after a few months of playing it cool, tricked you into responding back to him as APA7 (He said that it must have been an accident on your part as you must not have realized that you were APA7 at the moment).

Mike, I am envious of you. It would be so great to be able to play God. :D

You really don't have to say anything you know because this is really Never Never Land anyway. Everybody needs to chill out and just realize that the Wizard of Oz is Mike and others. Don't take me wrong Mike. I think you do a reasonable enough job of trying to keep things straight here. And who should give a rat's ass that you could possibly read PMs anyway - it's your forum.

Cheers.

you're kidding, right?

Timberly,
You should feel lucky that you haven't been banned like me WATCHEZ. That's right, but hey Mr. Wilson it is easy to get back on. Ban away. I guess women get a little bit more latitude with Mr. Wilson. Timberly & Marissa can call each other whores but they just get a slap on the wrist. Marissa can make comments about text messages she received in private but if I relate to a private message then my posts first get deleted then I get banned. Sounds like a two way street.

By the way, about those private messages that you receive. Be warned that AZ Mike & Mr. Wilson can read your private messages at any time. They really aren't private at all. Concealing this from everyone is borderline & dispicable. I was told this before but didn't believe it until I received a private message from Marissa & it showed as a 'read' message before I could actually read it myself. Come clean Mr. Wilson.

Then this Mr. Wilson sends me a private message saying I am a low form of life and dispicable. Nice to see that he is like a small dog barking behind a protective fence. Nice to see he acts so professional. Nice to see that he is a moderator that has pre determined sides that he will sit on. When I called him out for reading my private messages, he knew he was busted & abused his power by banning me. Oh well.

Maybe people didn't like me but from my prescious rep points I seemed to have a good standing.

This site is a joke. AZ Mike takes money for advertising from a criminal like KT but if you ever difference in opinion with another member, then you get barred. Well at least I got barred for what I believe. AZ Mike & Mr. Wilson let money run their lives & some sweet talking woman sway them. What is the post that got me barred? Because I reiterated the point that Marissa made about her boyfriend being thought of being gay? I don't know this guy & could careless. I was trying to tell her not to worry about it. SHE IS THE ONE THAT BROUGHT IT UP.

Good night all. Have fun in the lame land of AZ Billiards. Who knows, I am the Chameleon. I might just be back.

expecting privacy on a public forum is not reasonable...administrators have full access by virtue of their position (a reasonable expectation...come to terms with it). if you want to communicate in private, send the person your email address via pm, then encrypt your email using pgp (etc.). you're in someone's house...behave or be banned.

Does it seems rational to post messages on a board that are critical of the people who run the board? Am I missing something here?

hehe...nothing in poolrooms surprise me anymore.:D

I am a moderator on a fitness board running on vbulletin. The moderator control panel does not allow you to view pm's. You'd have to view them through the SQL database, and why would you do it? Not worth my time to spy on users.

You want an electronic communication to be truly private? Use a PGP protected email service like cyber-rights.net.

moderators are given specific rights by the administrator. the administrator has full rights to everything.

Let me rephrase that, there is no option in the Admin control panel or the Moderator control panel to view PM's. You have to apply a specific vbulletin mod to view pm's, or go into the SQL database manually.
