We finally have action!

It's about time action is showing it's head again......

It's a toss up for me, I think it will be a very good matchup. Too bad I can't sweat it.....

PLEASE post updates and let us know what's going on.

Also, don't throw the cash under the table.

Lil John/Kirkwood

Well, as of 7:30 P.M. Mississippi time on Thursday no one knows anything about a matchup with Lil John at The Green Room in Hattiesburg. Unless they're playing somewhere else.

what was the final bet?
I was wondering the same thing.... initially it was a 10 ahead set but the finale was a 12 ahead set... I'm just assuming the bet changed also.

They only played one set? Perhaps they couldn't agree to an adjustment?

They played 12 ahead for a decent amount of sand. Chris and Jason won in 3 hours or so. John didnt ask to play more so if you are winner, you dont push it. If he wanted to play more, he would have asked. I hear he is a gentleman and great to gamble with. maybe he had a bad night. I am sure if Jon wants to play more, he will let us know.

not going to comment on that missing money, but i will say that tony's last name is rOberto, not ruberto... makes him sound foreign the other way...

now there is good action... always firing it in with the best of them... never seen him not placing a wager....

I have always seen it spelled Ruberto and that is the way AZB has it too.

Thanks Billy Chips

Thanks for the updates. Nice to hear about some good action once in a while.

Thanks for the action report Billychips.

12 ahead in three hrs sounds like the game was out of line. Hopefully they can match up again.

Whoever said that Chris Bartrum isn't known for his action should have seen him play at valley forge when he got up there and played an ahead set with Rodney Morris, on the bar box, for 5K....

He hated life but at least he bet it... Never known him to turn down a game.... was it the best game? ... subject to discussion but the point is he still bet it..

Unless something changed, this match-up happened at Fusco's new room on the big table!
Anyway, kudo's to Chris for stepping up.

Thanks for keeping us up to speed, I'd have to say all three of these young men are gentleman and a pleasure to gamble with.

No, it was definitely on the bar box. Chris needs weight on the big table for sure...
