And Guys, 1st Class air fare is too much.... Regular flight seat is O.K. .... Just riding on an airplane is 1st Class for me... :wink:

Steve make a summary list in this thread to organize everyones commitment and cover yourself, and mark them as paid when you collect, i will pay you later this week when we do payables. I will buy you dinner for handling this work and comming up with this plan.

Alton is just great and his work is outstanding and having him there with everyone was a terrific plan, he will be so busy now it will be a 5 year wait for caps:angry: just kidding. And if it did take 5 years they would be worth the wait-just like a good cue there is no time schedual, too bad the others dont understand that -it would save alot of grief.

Another good plan for Alton would be for Steve or someone who has macro lenses to bring a camera with the correct lense, reason being is Alton could get good pics for cue cap orders right there, I have a couple cues I would bring just for that reason, let alton see the cues and pics then build the caps. He does perfect work off (bad pics in my case) image what he could do with seeing the cues and pics??? wow he would have more orders than he could handle.

At the risk of over talking it and its Altons decision, but having a camera there for pics of cues for orders for Alton will open up great oppertunitys for him and others to enjoy his work, anyone who isnt online and will be at VF will see his work there and for sure order caps, because they might not know his of work right now. I love the idea of more people enjoying his work instead of a few of us and I bet Alton would like that too. His passion is his art and I'm just proud to be his friend.

Were all going to have a great time the internet has brought alot of us together this past few years and that will make for lasting freindships and alot more to look foward to at things like VF, tournments etc. it just makes life better. I was a member of a real small board years ago-its gone now but about 15 of us are life long friends now as a result of that little board, I have seen it work before, the internet bringing together simiolar people, before our friends were people we just came across now we can meet LOTS of people and carefully pick out friends which leads to better friendships. Mark my words on this-in 5 years from now.
 
By no means do I have alot of money I don't even know Alton but I have made alot of friends here on AZ ... And have been fortunate enough to live comforatable and enjoy life with my family and friends that alone makes me a wealthy man...Anyone that you people are willing to reach out to like this must be a great person ... I will be glad to throw 50.00 into the pot also to make this come true for Alton... Just let me know when and where ... My son and I plan to spend a few days with Sly and family and Leon and us are going to head up to the expo for a few days together we have been making plans on it for a few months now , Heck I was born in Harrisburg Pa and have ooodles of family up in those hills but have never been to the Expo... So maybe I will get to meet this Alton ya'll speak so highly of ... And many of you great people ... Should be alot of fun...

How each one of you touched me in many different ways (No, not like that..:rolleyes: ), but, by having some kind of long term relationship (Here we go again, :rolleyes: not like that...), or the accolates that are motavating and inspiring to keep me going...
And, simply giving me the chance to create a cap for you and at the same time show the world what can be done to a simple Joint Protector..

I think that is a wonderful thing you are doing for Alton. He deseves a vacation, and he will be able to meet the guys he hqas been working with for years. Good Luck Jim
