Hey guys,
After talking to Big Truck on the phone, I couldn't help getting involved. Lord knows I wouldn't be where I am at without a little charity along the way. I want to thank everyone else who contributed to this good cause and look forward to teaching this young man something that will help him become great at the sport he is so obviously passionate about.
See ya soon Robley...

Your shirts are on their way. We at AZB are very proud to have you represent the web site and all of the fine folks who participated in this effort. We hope you do well at the event but we also hope (more importantly) that you have fun and enjoy the tournament.
Well Big Truck you are the man. I want to personally send and invite to Robley to come eat some Gumbo and Etouffe at my house with big truck on the friday before the tourney. It is great to see all these pool players come together for a great cause. Robley i also got 20 for you when you get here see you guys real soon. Props to truck the Best Man in the world for Pool Players. I am going to go see Robley at the Neon Moon this weekend cant wait to meet him. See Ya In NAWLINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tell y'all what i'm a pretty hard SOB and it takes a good bit to move me,but ever since Robley started that first thread,I have just been blown away as this one has taken off to where its at now.I haven't been to the last few White Diamond tourneys but the last few I attended Robley stayed on this one table in Chris's place the whole time he was in there, grinding it out.The kid plays well, just needs a little tweaking and fine tuning,as we all do.I learn something new every set that I play, hell prolly every game I play.Anyway, just wanted to say good luck and all of the AZ'ers have done one hell of job getting him set up.If i wasn't unemployed at the moment I'd drop a few Benjamins myself, still might before it's all over with....................Rickey Anders

Hi There "gimpy". Did not know you were still in the area. I have not seen you around since I made a tourney in Mamou at Bobby's place. That night an old man with a broken back got lucky on ya and put you out of the tourney. As CajunBBox said "knock em dead in N.O." GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow, i just read all the pages of this post... I haven't posted in here in quite some time... gave up pool after I got married... and probably was the biggest mistake ever!
Someone posted that the words "shuda wuda cuda" were always synonymous with pool... true words were never spoken.
I see that Robley is set with great equipment and loads of $.
What is the preference if I donate something? Do you need anymore equipment? would you prefer money? lemme know it will be in the mail!
Don't ever give up on your dream.... stay strong and keep that heart kiddo...

Fellow AZers,
Some of you are familiar with the plight of Robley Fontenot (pronounce Rob Lee) of Eunice Louisiana.
http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=156362
Robley was born with Spina Bifida. He has had to overcome many obstacles in his life including taking care of his mother, but has never complained. He has given up his savings on more than one occasion to help out others. He has good manners and is well liked in and around his home town of Eunice.
Robley has dreams of being a top notch pool player. He is very limited with what he can do, not only because of his physical limitations, but also his financial ones. He IS a very good player and has a chance in any match he plays in! He went Hill Hill with Chris Miller, owner of White Diamond Billiards, the last time they played at Chris' event!
Let's send Robley Fontenot to play in the Big Easy event on Oct 24,25!! I am gonna kick it off by offering Robley a ride to and from New Orleans. I am starting a fundraiser to cover the rest of his trip.
3 nights room - 210.00 Super 8
Food 4 days - 120.00
entry fee - 70.00
Total needed - 400.00

listen; i will try to call the 'powers that be' on AZ in wanting to have a change for your screen name: new name:
"BigHeart"
but maybe best that you should always be what you want to be named: "Bigtruck".
at times i have a lot to say. many tell me, sometimes i say too much. i know it is true. it is just one of my flaws. no matter... i'm just 100% WYSIWYG.
you my friend are an inspiration to me and to so many of us AZ'ers! and to Robley most of all.
i will send you REP, but that just has no comparative value to me saying to you directly how much i appreciate your existence. You are an Inspiration.
we have rich and poor here on AZ, in money that is. but for sure, you started it and so many stepped up to demonstrate how truly "rich" in kindness and spirit and money we can be!
i'll shut up now.
thank you and all AZ'ers,
smokey
