What am I doing wrong?

I've been playing pool now for about 3 years, on mostly 9' Diamond tables, and I have not missed a shot to date. Especially long shots, kicks, or anything with a severe cut angle. What am I doing wrong?

OK, this is my very first post and just my way of saying hello. So to those that are struggling with the above, it isn't exactly the complete truth. For those of you that knew it right away.....keep an eye on those other folks.

I just happened to stumble, purely by accident, on this website several days ago, and immediately registered. I didn't even know something like this existed.

You folks are fantastic. The downside, I have been reading through so many threads, and trying to absorb sooooo much that it is now taking away from potential practice time. I'm an older guy, so I won't ever have mad skills, nor do I have as much time to acquire them as some of you young bucks, but that does not diminish my love for this game one bit. I guess I'd have to label myself competitive, but more so within myself, than against another person/team. I'm always just so dern pleased, just to simply have an opportunity to compete, win or loose. Of course winning sure allows me to sleep better.

I just wanted to have my first post let y'all know how much I truly appreciate each word, description, recommendation, diagram, etc....but especially each one of you....Keep up the great work, and maybe someday, if I'm lucky enough, we'll play.

Thanks, Now back to my reading.

Welcome to the forum.
We all knew your shot percentage wasn't 100%, but there's plenty of information here that will help it get closer.
By-the-way, make sure you sign up for next week's field trip. We're all going out to Carlsbad, New Mexico, and visit the International Museum of Baskets.
I heard they had the one Moses came in. :)

Welcome!

I think that is Great First Post.

If you get a chance, fill out the 'about me' in your profile, if you want to that is.

I've only been here since June 2012 & I stumble in too.

It's like the Real World.

There is Good & Evil In the World.

IMHO There is more Good than Evil.

Enjoy It.

Regards,
Rick

The museum is eagerly awaiting our trip. They are running low on basket-cases.

Didn't we already go to that museum Tramp??? Roadking, welcome to the forum; you will find some great people here.

Welcome & good luck. Careful not to get sucked in, don't let your buddies at the pool hall start wondering where you went.

Welcome, but watch out everyone on here has run 10+ racks on a trap table with dirty old cloth and it rolls off to the left a lot which incidentally can be compensated for by ordering my new LATEBS aiming system DVD. (look at effing the ball stupid) $9.99 plus tax

Good post and good avatar. You may be a bit too nice to fit in perfectly here, but time will tell.

Let's get rid of that lonely single green rep square for you. (You'll find out what I'm talking about as you learn this site.)

Glad you found us............

This is the largest and the best pool site in the world.

It can get addicting. You might have to put a limit on yourself like about only 80 hours a week on the site.

All kidding aside it's been allot of fun for me.

I got on here in May or June of 2009.

Welcome and have fun////////:cool:
