People asking stupid questions.
This is pretty much mine. Though I'm sure I've been guilty of this at some point.

i didn't ask to get banned
i merely stated that i thought i would probably get banned for what i was about to post. It turned out that higher ups agreed with what i said.

1. The move the post somewhere else to see if anyone will agree with me guy. IE, in a post in the action forum, or for sale, or wherever.....the guy is off his rocker, 9 out of 10 posters tell him like it is.....well, he doesn't like his odds there, so he moves it to the general forum and opens a new thread about his same issue.....again, 9 out of 10 people give him the same opinion as before.....he keeps explaining to them how they don't understand the question.....finally someone agrees with him after 5 pages - he latches on to that post, quotes it, and signifies that one person as somebody who actually gets it and everyone else is an idiot.....
2. Half the for sale posts.....people, unless it's crazy expensive, post a price, this isn't ebay.....also, what exactly is a monster cue, really.....also, how can the same guy post the "deal of the week" on a different item every other DAY......and post a location, at the very least a state or country - shipping that gold crown 3 from Austrailia is out of my budget, it might be nice to know that up front....oh, and don't post second on every single for sale post saying how that is the best cue ever and the best seller ever, let someone else take a turn......also, what kind of idiot sells the "best cue he ever shot with"......come on people....

I want to be able to enjoy the cute and amusing avatars, and the interesting quotes people use in their signature line. If you're going to have an image, keep it a reasonable size. Fast Lenny, yours is a positive example. You don't have to scroll forever to get to the next post.
On topic, people who live and die for rep points by whoring for them (posting scantily clad images), starting threads begging for them, and complaining over negative rep. Get a life.

I get pi$$ed off when someone asks for the value of a cue, then some stupid nit gets on, tells him its worth $1500, when it is really worth maybe half that.
Then I try to buy it from the guy at the real value and he now wants $1500. The "expert" who said it was worth $1500 has no interest in the cue, the guy will never sell it because he thinks everyone is trying to screw him.
IF SOMEONE ASKS WHAT A CUE IS WORTH, DONT TELL HIM SOME OUTRAGEOUS NUMBER UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO BUY IT AT THAT NUMBER.

I hate the "value of a cue" and for sale threads. Some people also think they have a "gold mine" in their hands, and are not willing to part unless they receive some outrageous price for the cue. I don't even look at those threads anymore.
I'm quoting this post but there was another that had the same thing so basically in reply to both, or just a comment.
I really don't mind the people that ask advice on tips, cues etc... I mean, c'mon, for a younger player just starting out this forum offers them a chance to ask people that have been around the corner a few times their opinions on certain things. Isn't that exactly what a place like this is for? Now, with that said, I don't like this type of exchange.....

I think you see where this is going. Guys, if someone asks for advice on something then give them advice. Don't just toss a name out there and leave it at that. Explain the merits of that tip, in your own opinion. Let the OP read a few and make a decision on their own.

Well, the for sale forum has quite a few nuts as you well know. They just want to be heard, look at me -- look at me -- look at me --- well you know they just have to add the monster part, hits a ton, best player I've ever owned, I bet that plays lights out and other worthless dribble. I mean the guys need help pushing cues, whether it be a shill or someone from the peanut gallery.
At my work I get paid to ignore comments from people and other worthless dribble. So its not hard to ignore those guys or a lot of people on this forum except I'm not getting paid to do it.:frown: Well be that as it is I don't like any of the OP's survey comments either but there are still good many things about this forum.

People that get on azb to stir up a game they dont think they can lose then ***** up when someone takes it. People that cant play worth a damn tryin to talk crap to people that could give them the 5 out and the breaks. People that will ONLY play on their home table then talk shit when someone wont give them the nuts. Finally, people that make a game then try to change the rules to favor them at the last minute. If the pool world had more people like chris bartram maybe this game would be great again.
Im guilty of this one for sure....I sold my solid purpleheart Sugartree to SnapdaNine and I have tried to buy it back 2-3x ...so yea it can happen..I would STILL buy that cue back right now and let him make 400.00 profit. The cue that was probably my best hitting cue, it is the one on the far left with brown buttcap and collar
