What are your goals for the New Year 2016?

Mental, got some serious mental issues to get over/overcome
Go up a ball or two and run my first 50
Decide once and for all if I'm going to leave my wife or stay.

This one is easy.

What did you get accomplished during 2015 and what are your goals for 2016?

Happy New Years Everyone!

Great thread, Robin. Happy New Year's to you as well.

2015 was the year of the fundamental for me. I logged 354 hours of table time on drills, drills, and more drills. I feel my fundamentals have become solid and I have to maintain them. I also committed to the gym 5 days a week and worked on my fitness each day after work.

2016 will be the year of the ghost. I want beat the 6 ball ghost in a race to 7 on my table.
Also make a commitment to invest 10 hours a week in training/ghost ball. (My 6.8 hours a week average in 2015 just won't do, but with the career and little kids, I was happy to get anything in)

Well for pool...

As far as pool goes, I guess it would be working on straight in half table or longer draw shots and that darn Inside English. For some reason my stroke goes to crap some times on those long draw shots.

For life in general, it would be praying and reading my bible more. When I do that the rest of life is always better!

2015 -- I went back to college to study business.

2016 -- I want to further improve both my pool game and my piano.

GOAL -- Want to be the best (combination) pianist and pool player on the planet!

Any other pianist/pool players out there?
Only come at me if you can actually play from sheet music and are at least an 'A' pool player. :)

1) cause you've aready Mastered English? ;)

2) the money's on the light

my fondest memory, and accomplishment, of 2015, was when SJM was here in March, and we had 7 AZBers shooting pool in unison, for hours. as well, were the hundreds of hours & wealth of info from a select few, who aided us in our quest for health & moral support; hence our post. ;)

for 2016 - we hope to be able to do the same & reciprocate. and in the interim, my stress relief will be on the keyboard. AZB is so-ooo much more, than just "pool".

Good thread, Robin.

2015: my first 2 pack run in 9 ball in a match.

2016:
Work on my long draw shot, break shot, safety and kicking ability, consistent stance/grip.

Beat 9 ball ghost in race to 7. Best i could manage is 3-7 in my 5-6 encounters in 2015. Given that i only play 3-4 times a month it will be uphill task :)

1. Got back in the game and am loving pool again.

2. Sold my beat up bar box and picked up a gold crown

3. Learned how to fix the gold crown rails after a local mechanic butchered it (thanks to some awesome members on here)

4. Went through the BU exams and learned about some things that I wasn't as good at as I thought

Goal for this year:

Fix the holes in my game I found with the BU exams

My high runs now average about 10 balls... Goal is to consistently double that in my 14.1 games this year.
