What Brand Table?

What?! It is the friggin jungle! They don't give a phuc! That is what kind!!!!
I can't give any advice about what type of out door table but I have had the experience of playing on one in St Lucia.
It was at a resort and they had a daily pool tournament. I figured it would be fun and it was. The problem was the wind. It is amazing how the balls would roll when the wind blew. The OB would roll enough to make you completely miss it before the CB got to it. Don't plan 3 balls ahead because the balls would be blown into a different position before you got to them.
If you do put one outside protect it from the wind or have real slow cloth.

This is a tough one to answer because I think that anyone who gets a table and lets it get exposed to the elements... probably doesn't care about the condition of the table or how it holds up over time. So those people probably don't even pay attention to the brand name of it. They just buy whatever is cheapest, abuse the shít out of it, and use it until it can't be used anymore... then replace it with whatever is cheapest.

I don't think there are regular AZBers who own outdoor cafes in tropical countries and have put a lot of thought into which brand takes a soaking and extreme temperatures better than the rest. I might be wrong, azb has people from all over.
Honestly I'd rephrase the question: What methods can I use to get more life out of my 'outdoor' table? Can I just aim an air conditioner at it? Does one covering help prevent moisture gathering on the cloth better than another? Is there a trick to ensure it stays level and keep the rails fresh? etc.

In response to your question above, although not a direct answer as to what specific brand of table is in use in the Philippines, I do know of a manufacturer that specializes in outdoor pool tables that are capable of taking the weather:
JPJ Outdoor Pool Tables
Because of the history of pool in the Philippines (how this sport got started there), methinks the lion's share of these outdoor tables you see might be Brunswick Gold Crowns, but I could be wrong. As long as you don't have rain directly falling on a GC, and the sun "baking" it (both of which are supposed to be protected by the "car port" structure), the table shouldn't be adversely affected. However, local insects and arachnids can *definitely* take residence in the many hiding spaces in the table, not to mention the wood-boring/-chewing kind. As a Filipino friend once told me, "if you go to the Philippines and play on a pool table there, be *very* careful when lint-picking objects off the table; they can bite or sting!"

These people specialize in outdoor tables. Don't have any idea how the sunbrella cloth plays.
