Recuts, veneered, full-spliced...et cetera. Which cuemakers do you see in the FS/FT, or elsewhere of interest, do you feel the most confident about not having to ask about exacting ringwork and/or point work?
For example: Black Boar, Vollmer Cues
In all honesty, there are TONS of cuemakers out there today doing great pointwork. To try and narrow it down to just a few names is kinda difficult.
For example, Mike Webb is doing AMAZING pointwork. Richard Harris (Bluegrass cues) does recuts. Travis Nikklich is doing phenonal full splices cues with near perfect points. The Tascarellas, Barry Szamboti, John Showman, Dennis Searing, Ron Haley..... you see what I mean? When you see cues by MOST of these guys, I'm not really checking for the exactness of their points. Chances are, they're spot on.
