Corey just posted this on my Face Book Page:

Win the DERBY CITY CLASSIC with TOI and you'll have a NEW SPONSOR.

That goes for any pro - If you use the TOI System to win any of the three events the TOI PRODUCTIONS INC will add $1000. to your prize money.

The TOI Technique is for real folks......'The Revolutionary Way to Play Pool Like A Pro'

Damn. Strong endorsement from a top level pro with one of the prettiest and strongest strokes of all-time.

For all of you amateurs out there (and I'm one of you as well), I used TOI virtually exclusively in a tournament setting this past Wednesday night.

I was LIGHTS OUT (for me, anyway). I didn't win the tournament, but I got several comments of, "Do you EVER miss?". The thing that stopped me was that it was on tables that have THE fastest cloth and cushions I've ever played on. So, occasionally I'd leave myself in a bad spot and ruin a run or pattern. Speed control is a huge adjustment on those tables compared to any others I've ever ran across.

I've going to be very excited to play in a place with nicer equipment.

I just ordered the TOI DVD a few min ago, btw, so I can get the full breakdown on any nuances I haven't been aware of yet. But, I'm tellin' ya.......it works.

Thumbs up, CJ!

I just ordered the DVD. I can't wait to try it out and maybe post a review.

I do it subconsciously now.

In the thread on looking at the cue ball last, I only admitted to gaining a better understanding of TOI. I did that to keep the thread from getting derailed.;) In fact I have been using it as a way of thinking rather than a tool. Now I set up on the cue ball with TOI as a habit. If I do otherwise my subconsious rebels! Then I get up off the shot, rethink my cue ball path and almost every time there is a way with TOI.

Ok, SOLD! i've been on the fence all day thinking about ordering the dvd. corey deuel already shooting much better. nothing more needs said.

just paid for it on the site. can't wait to get it.

Any1 feel this toi works better with a shaft that's not LD?

I was also very curious about this and asked about it in the other thread and no one replied. I don't play with LD shaft but I do have my own natural LD shaft. Hoping when I get the DVD, I will be able to learn more and confirm my assumptions that I made so far on TOI.

So if a player wins an event all he has to say is "uhh, ya I used TOI!" and you will give him $1000 for saying it.

Which pro out there is "not" going to say it for the extra g-note? whether they used it or not? These are starving pool players after all.

won't CJ know what they did ? TOI is his baby, I think he would know better if someone actually used it or not.
You gotta have some respect for the top players there, I like to think those guys are honest enough and have respect for CJ for not to lie.

Hi CJ,

Just got your DVD on TOI and I'm looking forward to reviewing it. On the payment form it said that delivery will be 2-4 weeks, is this correct?

Regards,
Duc.

P/pal sent... for the TOI DVD..

Shipping 'a week to 10 days??' ... been waiting 3 weeks already...lol. j/k..

Looks like the PPV will need a "playlist ticket"... is that at additional cost CJ??

Maybe TOI 'DVD purchasers' should get a ticket in an email for a couple of days of preview before the DVD arrives... Maybe?

Thx

Randy

I'm down with this. I ordered the Dvd before I knew it would be so long; figured they were ready to ship. CJ anyway to turn the Dvd order into a PPV purchase? can you PM me please. thanks

Yeah... I did the same...(purchased the DVD before I knew of the PPV) ..

I prefer the PPV instead of the DVD actually..

so whatever I need to do for the PPV in place of the DVD is fine with me CJ.....

Still no TOI PPV on the site... after lunch... unless your on "Aloha" time...

I would also like to know if TOI is better served with a LD shaft or traditional shaft.

I made some "small" changes which ended up being what many would have called "major".

With all due respect I can tell in a minute if they are using the Touch OF Inside System or not. If you go though the {thousands} of threads with me explaining TOI I give the "tell tale signs".

I spoke with Allison Fisher two days ago about it and she had noticed how some of the champion players were getting no spin and the ball appeared to be floating, not spinning. You can really tell off the rail because it comes off "flatter," more on a natural angle, that one effected by outside english.

I won't pay anyone to endorse my techniques, however, if they start using them, and endorse them openly (without the capital influence), I would consider working with them or maybe even sponsoring them.

Corey is just "experimenting," and I would advise him to be careful if playing in a tournament with a new type game. Another way of looking at this is a top pro can adapt to this VERY QUICKLY because they will see and feel the benefit immediately (if they play for an hour or two straight, only using TOI).

I contacted Corey after he made this comment and told him I would take some time with him at DCC if I end up going. It is starting to look like I WILL BE GOING on Sunday or Monday. Right now my priority is to get this TOI Video up and out to those of you that are waiting for the PPV today at www.cjwiley.com

We're back to work, my producer just showed up and we've got another computer uploading the final cut (again). I made some "small" changes which ended up being what many would have called "major". It's just changing around the order of chapters, however, to me it was essential.

We're not dealing with a normal video, this TOI Video is more like a 90 minute movie with extensive information. It completely filled up one of our main computers which has a massive storage capacity. The goal today is reducing it so everyone can download it quickly and easily for viewing.

If someone uses my system FIRST and credits it to TOI, It's a real and honest test

Yes, and this Corey's comment came as a complete surprise. I have't spoke to Corey since the Texas State Championships over 6 months ago.

Even at the Texas State tournament I hadn't "real eyesed" how important it was for me to use TOI on EVERY shot. I was still trying to use different spins and speeds and therefore I had some great matches and some that I played inconsistent.

I still wouldn't recommend Corey switch to TOI on EVERY shot unless I personally work with him or he studies the TOI video.

With the TOI I may still have up and down matches, only the range will be much closer. I am using ONE SHOT and this shot I can pretty much "master," and so can anyone. The extreme difficulty in pool comes from trying to "match the shot" to the situation. The easier way, is the TOI WAY, which is matching the situation to YOUR SHOT.

Again, I will never pay anyone to use my techniques, their payment will be in the results they achieve and as a result they will win more tournaments/ca$h.

If someone uses my system FIRST and credits it to TOI, I will consider that a real and honest testimonial and compensate them further. This is just good business and I won't advertise this fact beyond this statement at this time. If they hear about it by "word of mouth," then so be it. "Let the Games Begin." Do you explain in this TOI video how do you align to different shots (angels) with your eyes and body, before going down to TOI position on the CB?

you always go to center FIRST, to learn TOI properly. Then you create the angles

Yes, you always go to center FIRST, to learn TOI properly. Then you create the angles using the TOI technique.

It's easy to learn, and extremely involved to explain. It took me over 10 hours reduced to 90 minutes in the TOI Video. The full, video file was reduced and is still over 9000 "mini files" used to make the final product. We've rendering it now and then reducing into a size that you can download it on PPV.

It will be at www.cjwiley.com

I had a little time on my hands today and decided to try using a TOI on shots tonight. *i have not watched CJ's dvd/ppv yet so this is just from reading the descriptions and experimenting* I will get around to buying the PPV or the dvd at some point.

I addressed the cue ball and fell in line with inside right away. I'm not sure if CJ recommends falling in line with center and then moving, but my center ball is pretty accurate so I just adjusted where I fell in line to a touch to the inside.

Two positive things I noticed were:

1: you are throwing/spinning the ball into the exposed corner of the pocket instead of the rail which you would throw/spin the ball too if you were using outside. I assume this gives you a larger margin of error when you "miss" as you will likely hit the inside of the point and still go in.

2: I always tend to overcut balls just a shade, so my misses are on the "pro side" and don't sell out as much. With TOI you have to aim to overcut shots just for them to go in with the throw/spin. So even if you overcut a ball, it still has a decent chance of falling because of my first observation. If you do happen to miss, you're still going to overcut the ball and won't sell out as much.

(if you undercut a ball using TOI, I'd say you are line up pretty bad, it seems pretty hard to undercut a ball with this technique. unless you are aiming like you do with center and not making the adjustment)

The only "down side" which really isn't bad is my tangent line was a little different, but not enough to be catostrophic. I was also able to hit balls more firmly as the inside checks the cue ball a little, which I don't mind as I prefer to hit them more firm than softly.

Anyway, this is before watching the dvd/ppv, and I could be doing this differently than CJ, but it definitely has its merits and I can see some people really liking it.

Any1 feel this toi works better with a shaft that's not LD?

I've tried it with both.I play mainly with a 314 shaft, with a regular shaft the toi is a little bit harder for me to get use to.To me the 314 is the best choice for this method.(That's just me though)
Been thinking about doing a video on the shots I've been practicing on.
This system really fits in on how I connect the balls.(some shots)
I can honestly say CJ's Ideal of touch of inside has brought something new to my game in a very positive way.
Thank You Mr Wiley .
