What do I have?

I bought one like this about a year ago without the Adams logo. I paid $170 for it, then found out what it was...and now I think I paid about $100 too much.

This is a nice looking pool cue. I don't know what it is worth in today's market.

I thought the correct spelling of the Steve's last name is Mizerak, not Miserak. I might be an Adam's cue or a Griffin cue.

The spelling was odd to me as well.

Just wanting to try to figure out what it exactly is.

Holy Crap...maybe that makes it worth more...like the incorrectly stamped coins!

Wow! I just pulled mine out without the Adam logo and mine is spelled with the Z in it. It is the exact same stamp or writing as the one pictured though only mine has the Z instead of the S.

I don't know how to post pictures, so I can't show it. I do know how to email it though.

wow, have had a handful of offers to buy it already.

Im not sure I want to sell it, but want to know for sure what it is.

Adam, indeed.

This is an Adam. Adam cues were started in 1968 by Richard Helmstetter. I see them going for $400-$500. But, that's for a new one. They're made in Japan. I hope this helps a little bit.

So it's an Adam as I suspected. Thanks

Now is there anything to the name spelling?

Mike

Early 80's Adam. They misspelled his name on the Mizerak line of cues for a while, then when they realized it they corrected the spelling.

I think what he wants to know is whether the misspelling increases the value of the cue.

Since your dad gave you the cue, I'd strongly suggest you keep it.

My dad had been gone for a long time now, but when I use one of the tools he gave me. we have a conversation. :)

Yeah, I was gonna say, I thought they were full spliced. It is a nice, older cue. I would hang on to it.

Steve's nickname was "the Miz" so if it's spelled with an s it's a mistake.
