Sometimes I look at AZ as a bad habit because I know that I spend too much time on here. On the other hand, I want to stay connected with the pool community for my other half. Like anything, I believe things should be done in moderation.
When I take a hiatus from posting -- and I have many times -- I have to admit my work productivity was much higher. I did not outsource as much to others. I did it myself.
I recently quit cigarettes because they are harmful to my health. It was a decision I knew I had to make, sooner or later. It should have been sooner, but better late than never.
We are all creatures of habits. AzBilliards is the first thing I do when I wake up, sipping my Pleasant Morning Buzz coffee. I should be outside exercising, putting my time to better use.
I am seriously considering putting an end to my AzBilliards participation when I hit the 10,000 mark for a variety of reasons. I have made great friends here, and we will always be friends when we meet on the tournament trail, but all good things must come to an end.
The climate of this forum has changed. It is not the same as it was when I first joined. I still enjoy reading AzBilliards a lot, but it is really a time burner for me today. Mike Howerton owns the website, which reflects his affection for pool, but how often do you see him post?
I need to put my time to better use. The clock is ticking, and unfortunately, I'm not getting an younger.
That's the way I feel today, but hey, I'm a woman, and we're entitled to change our minds, aren't we!?
